Just dine at this restaurant tonight with some girlfriends and was served with some exceptionally nice food but terrible customer service or could be described as no service. When we arrived there was one girl standing to our right drying forks … she raised her head looked at us and continued her task (bravo and brownie point to her). We continued to wait for a few more minutes and still no one came to the host desk. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and looked like half full at the most. The girl to our right continues to dry her forks (almost one bucket done… such good work!!!) so I walk up to her and asked if anyone is going to serve us. She told us to wait while she continues with her forks. Waited again a lady comes up ask if we have reservation and we didn’t she went to check if there was a table then comes back and ask us to follow her. She asked if we would like to have some still or sparkling water to start and we replied is it table water? And if so give us one each. One of the glasses on the table was stained so we asked for another one. She comes back and slams it on the table, it was very rude. The water wasn’t table water and we had to pay $10.50 per bottle, that was frustrating.
When we paid for the bill we noticed “service fee “ and asked what is service fee and the boy couldn’t reply us so I asked him to check with his manager, comes back and says it’s a fee the system spits out and it’s from upper management so we don’t know and control it.
Food was great so I recommend going there for food only but don’t expect any service because when there is no expectation there is no disappointment. Despite all, the only service we had which was worth recognising is the girl who took our order. She was patient and gave some decent service and knowledge...

Only 2/3 of the first batch came and the second order came immediately. However our server had somehow put the wrong pizzas into onto our bill and charged us for 5 pizzas instead of four. However it took over an hour for us to get the pizza from the first order. We had continually checked with different servers but each was highly confused and insisted we had received our pizzas (they stated the wrong flavours etc.) When when we finally received our pizza (after speaking to someone who seemed like the manager after an hour), instead of checking what flavour we had gotten and how many we ordered, he simply asked another person to place it on our bill without sorting out the situation, When we went to pay for the pizzas, there was a lot of confusion and our bill had an extra $10, instead of deducting it, as one of our friends left early and decided to pay for her portion alone. I don't think our experience was any one servers fault, but there was a lot of confusion around the restaurant and miscommunication. It was badly managed and the staff were not very clear or confident in their abilities. Moreover, the restaurant was nowhere near its full capacity, would love to see some improvement...
Read moreA group of 5 of us dined here for a ladies lunch to catch up with a work friend and her baby. We were warmly welcomed and the pram was accommodated at the table with us. Between us we ordered 4 x pastas ($32 to $38) and 1 x chicken parmigiana ($35). Service was very friendly and efficient. We didnt wait long for our food and we were all served at the same time. The more expensive prawn ($37) and crab ($38) pasta portions were considerably larger than the $32 sausage and gorgonzola ones (especially the crab one which was enormous).
I had the chicken parmigiana ($35) The chicken was huge, the sugo rich and delicious and cheese melted to perfection. The coleslaw with kale was creamy and tasty. I was so full at the end I wasn't even sad about lack of chippies or other carbs. Not sure what the lemon wedge was for.
With Fratelli you get what you pay for with service and food quality. Our hostess was fantastic and she even cleared the table for us before taking some group photos.
No split bills. Worth the treat, despite being quite noisy on a weekday at lunch. Buzzy atmosphere but not the place for a...
