I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your store. My interaction has not only been the worst I have ever encountered at any retail establishment, but it has also left me feeling completely scammed and deeply distrustful of your business practices. Few months ago, I entrusted your store with a pair of my Yeezy Foam Runners for consignment sale. I understood that these things can take time, and I was patient.
Upon visiting your store today to finally inquire about the status of my shoes, I was casually informed that they had supposedly emailed me "a few months ago" about a price reduction. I immediately checked my email, Unsurprisingly, this crucial communication was lost amongst my daily influx of emails. This already strikes me as an incredibly negligent and unprofessional way to handle such important information regarding a customer's property. Why was I not contacted directly via phone or a more prominent method, especially given the limited number of individuals involved? I was then informed – incredibly conveniently – that my shoes had been sold "just an hour ago." This timing is beyond suspicious. After months of waiting, they are suddenly sold within the hour of my arrival? It reeks of dishonesty and a blatant disregard for my ownership and rights as a customer.
Furthermore, I was informed that my shoes were sold for a significantly lower price than I would have ever agreed to, had I been properly informed. This feels like nothing short of theft. You held my property for months, failed to communicate effectively about a critical price change, and then sold it for a pittance without my explicit consent.
Based on this experience, and the unsettling feeling that this may be a pattern of behavior within your store, I strongly believe that your business is engaging in unethical, if not outright fraudulent, practices. The combination of poor communication, suspicious timing, and the unfavorable sale of my goods has left me with the distinct impression that you are scamming numerous individuals who place their trust in your services.

Read moreI strongly advise against purchasing from this particular store. A significant portion of the merchandise they carry is counterfeit, and their promotional offers are deceptive. Additionally, the manager displays elusive and cunning behavior, making him an untrustworthy individual.
I acquired a pair of Timberland shoes from them under the impression of a great deal, as the manager claimed a discounted price of $100 instead of the listed $240. However, within 10 days of purchase, the shoes developed cracks at the bottom, giving them the appearance of a worn-out, aged footwear, eventhough I weared it not more than 4 times. It is important to note that I use these shoes for office work, and they were not subjected to any conditions that would result in such damage.
Upon returning to the store to address the issue, the manager dismissively labeled it as a "wear and tear" problem. Despite my attempts to clarify that the cracks were not a consequence of misuse, he remained adamant in his stance. Eventually, he reluctantly agreed to send the shoes to Timberland for further inspection, stating that they would assess whether any action could be taken.
After a few days, I received a text message indicating that they had received an email from the Timberland company, stating that no manufacturing fault was evident. Consequently, I was instructed to collect the shoes.
During my visit to retrieve the shoes, I encountered a staff member who presented a hard copy of the email they purportedly received from Timberland. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the sender and receiver email addresses were absent from the paper, giving it the appearance of a fabricated document. When I questioned this discrepancy, the employee could not explain and agreed to show me the email on the computer. However, she struggled to locate the alleged email and eventually admitted that she cannot find it, leaving me skeptical and dissatisfied with the...
Read moreI 100% agree with dekoluk poredae review. As a consignor, this store deals with payouts and communication extremely poorly. They never email you notifying a sale and you must always chase up payouts.
From my personal experience, one payout of mine took many phone calls and emails to finally get sorted because the item was marked as sold in the email, however I did not get payed out. Again as dekoluk poredae said in his review, they find every excuse they can to why you haven’t been payed out no matter how many times you call/email them.
My second poor experience which finally sealed my decision to never consign with Solemate again was when I asked to withdraw the remaining 4 shoes I had with them. When I went in-store to pick them up, they only had 3/4 and one of the shoe boxes I received out of the 3 had a pretty big rip on one of the corners that was not there when I consigned them a couple months prior.
Besides this, the final shoe I was chasing proved to be it’s own challenge. From being told it was sold/pending investigation (aka excuses they gave to why they were not giving it back/paying me out). They said I would be updated the following Thursday only to receive no response. On Friday I called them to be told again it was pending investigation and is still being looked into. Finally today Monday 30th of December 2019, I called them twice and sent an email stating I would be going in-store to either pickup my shoe or get payed out, I finally received payment for the shoe on my way to the city.
All in all, I would not recommend consigning at Solemate due to their unprofessional behaviour and lack of initiative to solve payout issues.

It is sad since I was recommended this store by a mate of mine only to be met with poor customer service and an endless stream of excuses. Cannot recommend to anyone else...
