Wilson Parking - Barangaroo Reserve — Local services in Sydney

Purchased parking ticket online, drove in by touching the entry poll with my credit card as it was instructed. I was welcomed by my name and the plate number was displayed. Get off my car, looking around for a lift , no signs, only a door to get in and no way out, knocking the door until someone outside opened it, ‘thank you’. At the same moment another person was nearly get in to this trap. On the way out of this parking my plate number was not recognised, talking to the operator, searching through email messages on my phone to find a reference number for online booking, dictating it to her, repeating it again and again. Please DO avoid this parking garage:

1. Their daily rate is 55 A$, which you ONLY see once you are deep inside, at the gate. If there's another car behind you, you're trapped. If you end up parking...
2. We parked there for 2 days in total duration, so a normal person would assume 2*55=110, right? WRONG! Their system starts to charge at 5am at opening. So if you leave at 11am that day... cha-ching! You get charged a full day. You enter at 3pm and stay the night, the daily rate? Cha-Ching! 55$. This car park is the worst. The flat rates may be cheap but you will be stuck. The place is a maze and with very limited parking.

It was the 5th of May 2019 and I was going to the Finders Keepers markets (which is amazing) and when I was leaving the car park was full and it took me 1 hour to get out!

People entering and exiting were millimetres away from scratching my card. This car park is terrible and I’m never EVER parking there again
