Altmann & Kühne — Local services in Vienna

I am absolutely compelled to write this review to highlight the incredible service provided by Thomas at Altmann & Kuhne.

My experience was exceptional not just because of the world-class, delicious handmade chocolates (a true taste of Viennese luxury!), but because of the extraordinary effort made by Thomas.

My layover in Vienna unfortunately fell on a day the shop was closed. Heartbroken at the thought of missing out, I reached out online. Thomas was incredibly responsive and helpful. Even though it was his day off, he ensured I could still enjoy their incredible chocolates.

This level of dedication and customer care is rare. Thomas’s kindness and willingness to make things happen turned a potential disappointment into the highlight of my trip.

Thank you, Thomas, and thank you, Altmann & Kuhne, for not only upholding a legacy of exquisite quality but also one of genuine, personalized service. I cannot recommend this iconic establishment...

Website is intriguing, on the website the "Reisekoffer-mini" (18,90€) looks bigger than it actually is. "Reisekoffer NR.4" Looks the same size as the "Reisekoffer-mini".

Also the website is really hard to navigate because you can only find the product pictures when googling for it but there is no link or segment on the website itself

And the staff was really unfriendly, they didn't let us in together because of the Coronavirus restrictions but we live in the same...

I liked it so much that I went there again, but when I was holding a bag from another chocolate shop, she told me she hated it, which was such a letdown. It totally killed my mood, so I didn’t buy much. I’d seen reviews saying the staff had a bad attitude, and they were right. It’s such a shame — the chocolate is really good, and I feel bad for the people...
