A Dream Stay at The Leo Grand - Pure Luxury and Elegance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we arrived at The Leo Grand in Vienna, we were swept off our feet by the sheer elegance and charm of this luxury boutique hotel. Every detail of our stay was perfection, making it an unforgettable experience worthy of 5+ stars!
The hotel’s unique design is a stunning blend of historic Viennese architecture and contemporary luxury, creating an ambiance that is both opulent and welcoming. Our room was impeccably decorated, featuring plush furnishings, high-quality linens, and a breathtaking view of Vienna’s St Stephen’s Cathedral. The bathroom was a spa-like retreat including sumptuously soft towels and robes, a rain shower and luxurious toiletries that felt like a treat to use.
The service was nothing short of exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our stay extraordinary. They went above and beyond, from helping us with personalised recommendations for local attractions and restaurants to surprising us with delightful touches like a hand-written welcome note and a delicious bottle of wine.
Dining at The Leo Grand was an experience in itself. The breakfast menu was varied, with a variety of hot and cold choices, artisan breads, fresh pastries, and locally sourced delicacies. The hotel’s restaurant served an exquisite menu of gourmet dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed, perfectly paired with an extensive wine selection.
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Nestled in the heart of Vienna, it’s surrounded by a vibrant array of cafes, world-class restaurants, and high-end shopping options. Iconic landmarks like St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace, and the Vienna State Opera are just a short stroll away, making it an ideal base for exploring the city’s rich history and culture. Read moreI rarely write hotel reviews, but this exceptional, historic place absolutely deserves it. A few weeks ago while travelling Europe with my father (we are from the United States) I had the enchanting opportunity to stay at the elegant and captivating Leo Grande. It was fantastic and probably my favorite hotel stay I have ever had thus far in my life.
Whether you have been to Vienna many times or if it is your first opportunity to visit the gorgeous and historic city I cannot give the Leo Grand a higher recommendation. Just like the city of Vienna the hotel is brimming with hundreds of years of fascinating history and went through an inspiring and beautiful renovation led by a visionary designer named Gabrielle Lenikus which is worthwhile to learn about during your stay. (If all cities renovated their old buildings such as this, we would live in a more beautiful, balanced, and healthier world) .
The most important aspect of staying in a hotel (in my eyes) is the feeling you get once you are actually in your room. For me, the carefully and intelligently designed Leo Grande room felt like a sanctuary and offered a sense of home, style, and peace while being in a remarkable, new city. The staff were fun, insightful, thoughtful, and offered many great suggestions of wonderful and must see places to visit across Vienna. The room was so enjoyable it was almost hard to leave sometimes to go see all the incredible museums and sights.
One final and critical point is how perfectly positioned the Leo Grande location is in regards to enjoying your stay in Vienna. Vienna is a walking city and the first district is the place to be, at least for your first stay. The Leo Grand is nestled right in between two of the most iconic breathtaking cathedrals in Vienna in the first district and truly is the essential secret heart of the remarkable city..

Read moreGood afternoon. I would like to share my experience of staying at this hotel that was recommended to me. I have never left reviews, but now I have found the time. Because this is my most negative experience in Vienna so far. I have lived in almost all 5-star hotels in Vienna and I often visit this city. The hotel has very poor sound insulation, when you are in your room, you can hear people talking outside the door, constant noise, you can’t relax. But this is not the worst thing. This hotel is run by scammers. I had a second reservation through the Revolut app, which I cancelled and sent a confirmation to the hotel. However, the hotel still took 950 euros from me and did not return it. I waited until today for them to return my money. But they thought they could simply steal the money. It is very unpleasant to find yourself in such a situation. They did not even respond to my letters and arguments, only a message a couple of days later that they would not return the money. Scammers. What a weak management in the hotel if they treat customers like this. Plus, I forgot something in the room and asked to return it, naturally no one returned anything, they didn’t even apologize. This is the worst hotel in Vienna in terms of service and attitude towards customers. Also, there are many questions about the quality of the rooms. This is a 3-star level, but definitely not 5. Very poor breakfast, terrible access to the hotel, the hotel is squeezed inside, noise. It’s better to pay a little more and live in Hyatt or Rosewood, this is a completely different level of accommodation and attitude towards customers. The owners of the hotel need to review the quality of their employees. I don’t wish anyone to be in my situation and live in this...
