Türkis Goldschmiedgasse — Restaurant in Vienna

Would give ZERO stars if I could. Food was average, but this I can overlook. What absolutely ruined the experience was the rude waiter - who twice reminded us the tip was not included in the bill (before we had finished paying) and demanded that we add a tip to the bill. He went on (with attitude) to say that the 'tap' water we asked for was not normally included, therefore we should leave a tip. What little incentive I had left to leave a small tip was all but gone by then.

So here is a little 'tip' for the waiter - either provide a level of service that is deserving of the tip, or just ask your manager for a raise if you are so unhappy with your wages. Just don't continue to take out your anger on...

Visiting Vienna from the Middle East, you would assume food like this is natural for me to eat… False, apparently.

2 hours into processing the meal, my stomach began to hurt in such pain - i have not had this kind of severe aching in years. I drank a lot of water in hopes for it to get better, to no results. I had to cancel the entire evening and the coming day of my vacation only in hopes for the pain to stop. Puked 5 times - Intentionally (which really makes you feel like a kitchen rug) i felt as if my gut was turning inside out.

I am purposely expanding on the detail, this food is not for everybody - and i am Middle Eastern.

So the food was good, it was halal and seasoned well. However, I felt like I was scammed. I am a ketchup lover so I asked for three extra ketchups, only to find out he charged me £1.50 PER KETCHUP! It’s fine that he charged extra, but he didn’t tell us. He added it at the end and didn’t show us the receipt, so our bill was high with no explanation. He also charged us for bread which was advertised as coming with the soup we ordered. The end cost was nearly £10 extra than what we ordered. Again, it’s fine that they charged us, but there was no transparency. The bathroom was also a mess and had no toilet paper. I didn’t finish one of the ketchups he charged me for, so I took...
