Die Herrengasse ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut mit der U3 zu erreichen, deren Station sich zwischen der Wallnerstraße und dem Minoritenplatz erstreckt, und nach der Herrengasse  benannt wurde. Die Bahnsteige befinden sich als Seitenbahnsteige in zwei getrennten Tunnelröhren.
