In all honesty, this is way too overpriced for what it offers, and rich (often) Western tourists writing that it is cheap or affordable is not doing anyone justice.

Cable cars are proven to be some of the cheapest forms of transportation. While their initial costs may be high, they make up for it quickly by not consuming too much energy and carrying people across elevations with ease, unlike most other forms of transport. That is why in cities that rely on them, you will find out that they are very cheap.

This is of course a more tourist oriented cable car so an increased price is understandable, but making it 4 times the price of the finest portion of burek you can have in the world, which is also on this city, for one way of short travel, is far too much. Windows are not even clean for the most part so do not expect the best of views or photos. 30 KM return simply sounded extremely high so I decided to walk back down instead, which was an easy 45 min or so walk that I can recommended anyone but the elderly and the children.

I really love this country and its fantastic people, but touristic pricing can get so wildly off putting that I fear it may just cut into future profits by making it less likely for tourists to come back bere for more of Bosnia. I am from Turkey so I know very well how trying to get as much cash out of arriving tourists as possible ruined our tourism industry completely.

I do believe that locals get to enjoy this relatively cheaply, so that is something, but I do hope that a return ticket can be made more affordable for all and that the windows may be...

22.8.2018Base station accessible from street Franevacka (signed out partially),not far from Brewery restaurant.Still partially under construction and for handicapped persons inaccessible as the elevators there still dont work.Starts at 9,respectively at 10 in the morning, however they are writing that first gondola drives just 30 mins after (as the employees move just at 09:00 -pomali,pomali to their places - pomali,pomali),20 KM for foreigners is more than 3 times more than for locals - at one side I understand that - at other side - if you want to be Europe:Dont treat tourists like in India or Russia! So or so breathtaking view after the approx.9mins ride - but be prepared that on top nothing is signed out, no cafe, no beverages, nothing! 23.9.2019 now with little self-service cafe on hillstation, toilets and extended schedule.Hilltop actually closed because of recultivation, but fresh air and view anyway well...

I want to write a review just because I had an unpleasant experience here at the cable line on mountain top. When I pulled my paper ticket and scanned to pass, I was behind a Philipino couple. at this moment a white couple approached me and said that I cut in line and I should go back to behind. Even the Philipino couple said I didn’t and I always obey law and rules when I travel. I don’t know what is wrong with him. But every time when an Eastern European( Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Baltic countries) saw me, they wanted to create drama and flaunt their privilege and hate against Chinese. Here is my reply to you guys: I don’t...

Views spectacular as you go up and down, cable cars are nice, foreigners are charged way more than locals, nothing to do at the top, except look at the views (which are great). Sadly, they didn't clean up after finishing construction, so there is a lot of debris lying around at the top. Still worth a ride though, for the views...
