Stara željeznička stanica, Bistrik/izgrađena je 1906.g/ još podsjeća na vozove koji su povezivali Sarajevo sa Pribojem n/L. odnosno Višegradom a preko Šargana je bila veza za Beograd, Sofiju, Solun..Ausrougarska je izgradnjom pruge Slavonski Brod -Sarajevo 1882.g pristupila izgradnji željezničke stanice Bistrik. Zadnji vozi je prošao ovom prugom 1974.g, a ova stanica/zgrada čuva uspomenu na ta vremena i Valtera. Objekat stare željezničke stanice Bistrik je 2006.g proglašen nacionalnim spomenikom Bosne i Hercegovine . Umorna i oronula Stara Bisrička stanica, zaslužuje rekonstrukciju. Zato se 18.10.2019.g krenulo u renoviranje ovog spomenika kulture koji je zaštitni simbol grada Sarajeva. Rekonstrukcija Stare željezničke stanice Bistrik je završena 2021.g , ponovo je otvorena je 06.04.2022.g.
