Read moreWe were absolutely thrilled with our dinner. We thought we would not be able to get in because we did not have a reservation, but a lovely server named Elden managed to get us a table outside. We wanted to try as many different types of traditional Bosnian dishes as possible, so Elden recommended a platter with a variety of dishes for an entree, as well as a plate of Bosnian cheeses to start. Everything was DELICIOUS - best food we had on our whole European vacation. The cheeses were fresh and came with vegetables, hummus, and bread fresh out of the oven. The slow-cooked veal, various dolmas, and beef stew were wonderfully spiced and the meats were tender, juicy, and practically melting in our mouths. For us, the highlight was the klepe, the Bosnian ravioli (stuffed with meet and onions) in a sour cream sauce with paprika oil drizzled on top.
It was so much food, and for such a reasonable price - we ended up taking our leftovers to go and eating it the next day in our hotel, which I don’t normally do while on vacation! A very sweet restaurant cat also came up and stayed with us while we ate (but he didn’t beg for food, which was nice).
The atmosphere was just lovely, all of the servers were knowledgeable and happy, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. Our server Elden deserves his own special mention - he gave us lots of recommendations for where to go and what to do, and at one point even refilled our beer and wine for free when it took him longer to bring us more bread because he was with another customer. GO TO INAT KUĆA, you will...
Read moreI am sure the food is tasty here but unfortunately we couldn’t try it. It was raining as hell and we came here under the rain because we wanted to try the cuisine specifically here. But the waiters said there are no free places and we should come back in 1,5 hours. But 1 place was free and I asked if we can sit there. The waiters said then we will have to wait for about an hour for our food and we were okay with it but at this moment another waiter shouted at us that we cannot just stand there as they have to work. That was extremely rude. Moreover, as I came to the waitress the second time to ask why can’t we sit at the free table, I heard the same waiter that shouted to make funny comments about me and laugh. As if I don’t understand Bosnian language, but I understand Russian and sometimes I understand what people say.
Addition: as I cannot react to the owner‘s answer, I will add it here. We are always very reasonable and respectful. And I unfortunately find the way that you talked to us was not respectful. And there was a free table and we couldn’t understand the reason why we couldn’t take it even that we were ready to wait for the food for a long time. And I completely understand that you had a lot of people there but sorry, somehow you should be prepared for the capacity of your restaurant and that doesn’t mean you can be disrespectful to clients. And don’t let them sit at...
