Ćevabdžinica Mrkva Baščaršija — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

As a fan of cevapi, I was excited to try the cevapi at Mrkva, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The first disappointment was the presentation. The cevapi looked unappealing, with an uneven shape and they looked raw and oily. It seemed hastily thrown together, lacking the care and attention to detail that I expected from a restaurant. Furthermore, the texture was off-putting. The cevapi were dry and overcooked, making them tough and difficult to chew. This took away from the enjoyment of the meal and left me feeling unsatisfied. Overall, my experience with the cevapi at Mrkva was disappointing. Lack of manners and etiquettes from the person at the front till. Doesn’t know how to treat customers. Doesn’t listen and has no common sense, he got very offended when I mentioned common sense. I came in with 3 kids and ordered the cheeseburger meal x 3, because I didn’t point for him the picture on the menu above, he charged me individually cheese burgers and individual fries x3 and didn’t give the drink, which works out to be more than ordering the meals. When pointed out, he says it is not in their culture to suggest drinks for children meaning children should eat and choke themselves, in other words scam tourists. Stay away from restaurants where the waiters are trying to sell you a table right of the street, it's often not a good sign and this was the case here. Service was ok. Food tasted good but the quantities were ridiculous. My brother ordered a 250g chicken filet, what he was served was 2 tiny slices of chicken probably less than 100g that wouldn't be enough to feed a baby let alone a grown man. The quantity of the fries was ridiculously small for that price. Not the worst Tourist trap because the food is actually good, but they rip you off in terms of quantity and price.
