Moo's Country Ice Cream Ltd — Local services in Calgary

This section of the Bow River Pathway is one of my favourite places to walk and I've often passed by this ice cream shop and been curious about trying it out. I finally did today and it was initially a positive experience ordering.

I clarified that the chocolate swirl would be a combination chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream and was excited to try it as a dipped waffle cone. My friend ordered a butter pecan dipped cone if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately the staff member making the ice cream somehow got both my order and my friend's order wrong. When we expressed that the order she called out (chocolate dipped cone and black cherry dipped cone) were not what we ordered, she was adamant that she was correct.

She ended up giving the one she thought was chocolate to me which turned out to be black cherry (neither of what I ordered) and she ended up re-making my friend's order but my friend wasn't sure whether she ended up getting the right order or not.

Sweet people but awful ice cream. I ordered a coffee soft serve and it tasted so sour. At one point I began to think that their speciality was sour ice cream. Towards the end in my cone the ice cream had yellow stains! Expensive, calorie rich and distasteful.

Waited until 11:15 to be served on this busy Saturday morning. The girl showed up 4 minutes to open and spent about 10 minutes after opening time to set up. Finally ready to take orders at 11:15, just to be told the credit card machine is down. A poor little boy walked away disappointed with his father, after waiting 15 minutes as well. Terrible...
