The customer service on the phone is really hit or miss. Someone put me on hold for over 15 minutes and never came back. I called again, and the second person who answered helped me find and reserve a specific item in my size fairly quickly.
The in-store customer service is stifling. As soon as you walk in, the employees make a beeline for you, tell you their names twice in one introduction and memorize your name. Then they walk by you, call you by your name and remind you of theirs, repeatedly, so that they can get their commission when the cashier asks who helped you. You'll most likely remember their names for a week. But probably forever.
On the bright side, unlike at many other large stores, the sheer number of overbearing employees means that you'll most likely find what you're looking for (if it's in stock in your size, which it often isn't).
The "help" buttons in the changing rooms (that flash to show the attendant outside that you need help and prevent you from having to step out half dressed) would be a great idea IF the attendant actually came to see you relatively soon.
I like that Victoria Secret employees proactively ask you when the last time was that you had your measurements taken. If there's one thing I'd suggest to all women, it's getting measured at a Victoria's Secret. You'll probably be surprised to find that you're wearing the wrong bra size.
Victoria's Secret bra sizes are very consistent, so if you don't have time to try things on, you can be confident that any brassiere in your size will most likely fit. (Then it's just a question of cut and style.)
Compared to similar items at other lingerie brands, some lace-covered or more intricate Victoria's Secret bras are quite pricey and get damaged very easily in the washing machine, which is disappointing and a real hassle if you don't want to hand wash everything all the time. At least their t-shirt bras can safely be washed in the machine.
The store is gorgeous, of course, but what's the point of having a nicely designed space if you can barely tell what colour anything is because of the dim lighting?
Set at least an hour aside to shop here as the place has three floors to explore and long waits at the changing rooms and...

What a stunning environment ! They give new meaning to attention to every exquisite, lacy detail, and I trust all of us felt the enchantment: decor, merchandising, colours, delicate and seductive scents and sounds, but the ultimate: the staff.
I was beyond impressed by their extensive product knowledge, their willingness to introduce themselves, actually listen to my needs: You see, I sought to beautifully cover the girls rather than push them way up. And to hear this: "Oh, I understand. THIS is what you are looking for. They are displayed in the basement. Please, feel free to continue browsing on this floor, and when you are ready, let me know, I will call downstairs to let them know you are coming".
And again: Enchanted Apple was my favorite fragrance: reminds me of those special trips to the stores in New York, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Ann Arbor... Please tell me they brought it back? "Unfortunately no. But the closest to it would be Pure Seduction. You will also like Velvet Petals"... Need I say more: Sold, of course.
And I am happy to report that every single one of these dream sales experts and fit consultants, and there are quite a few of them, demonstrated the same positive, pleasant attitude, the unforgettable touch that ensures a customer come back.
I came in and left, feeling like a V.S Angel, with a Jasmine Tookes like strut!
And why not:...
