Jasper Star Trails — Local services in Municipality of Jasper

We had the great pleasure of spending two hours stargazing on Lake Annette with Joel and Matthew on August 21st. We were fortunate in so many ways: the weather was perfect, the sky was clear, and we were the only two participants on this particular evening.

Joel and Matthew had four telescopes set up as well as a number of binoculars available for our use. They didn't just share the obvious constellations, we saw many lesser know constellations. They are literally walking encyclopedias of the night sky. They were very patient and explained everything we were seeing.

Would 10/10 recommend Jasper Star Trails while touring Jasper! The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and you can tell how passionate they are about what they do. We were lucky to be the only ones on our tour and got such a great 2:2 experience. We were able to see planets, the Milky Way and many stars. They also recommended a ton of additional resources to further our knowledge of the skies. I would hands down recommend them while visiting Jasper and can’t wait to go back the next time we are...

We booked a tour with Jasper Star Trails while visiting Jasper, and it was absolutely brilliant. Joel and Matthew were both so knowledgeable and passionate, it was a privilege to be able to ask them questions (even silly ones!) and listen to them guiding us through the night sky - I have never seen so many stars!
