Iâm so disappointed with my experience with Bluboho I had to write a review. I wanted to give this store a 0 star since I had such a poor experience. But ] would not allow me to posted without the 1 star.
My bestie bought me a snake necklace here and it cost her $400 for this super thin fragile chain with a snake pendant. It was 14k gold. I personally donât think itâs worth $400 for a thin cheap looking necklace but it was a gift. It was so fragile I was worried the necklace was going to rip apart. I did end up wearing it one time. After wearing it once and I stored it in the fabric bad that was given to me, to my dismay the 14k gold tarnished near the snake pendant.
I brought it back to the store since my friend paid alot of money for it. I spoke to Gauda whoâs the store manager. She put it in this machine to clean it and then proceed to tell me the necklace was oxidized. She said it could be from hair dye. I have never dyed my hair in my life!
Can real gold oxidize?? I owned so many gold necklaces from the different expensive jewelry stores and it has never happened before. Iâve had gold chains for more than 10 years and it never oxidized. The store manager brushed me off and proceed to get me out of the store and said thereâs nothing she can do. More customer was coming in and you could tell she just wanted me out of there. For someone to pay $400 for a necklace thatâs real gold you would think Bluboho would be embarrassed to sell such a cheap piece of jewelry that they would go out of their way to either fix it, replace it or offer the customer store credit for something else.
The service was terrible and the products are so overpriced for small cheap pieces of jewelry. Iâm all for supporting local business but when they offer poor service and sell you poor quality products I no longer want to shop there. I used to loved Bluboho and have purchased gold rings and earrings from here. Never again!! Told my friends and family who loves this store. Will never shop here again....

I wish I could give this product a good review, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I've been a customer since 2018 and I have been satisfied with their service, up until now! I bought the Imprint forest bracelet as a gift for my friendâs birthday, thinking it would be a great present. Unfortunately, it took 2 months to get this item back.
Hereâs where things went downhill. I bought a bracelet back in Dec 2024. I brought it into the store for engraving and length adjustment on Jan 7, 2025, hoping that the rush from Christmas/New Years have died down and with lots of time to spare from my friend's birthday on Mar 3. To my surprise, I got a call on Jan 25, 2025 that it was ready for pick up. When I got to the store, the engraving was done but they did not adjust the length. The staff there apologized and sent it back for another work repair as a "rush" request. After several back-and-forth texts/calls and absolutely no sense of urgency from customer service, I was told it'd be ready on Feb 26, but will receive a call when it's at the store. BUT, I didn't get it back until Mar 5. And guess what? My friendâs birthday had already passed days ago. So much for a thoughtful gift!
If I had known the engraving/length adjustment process would take this long, I would have just returned it and bought something else. The lack of communication and the ridiculous wait time make me question whether Iâd ever buy from this brand again. The answer is NO! Wasted $478 ($398 + $25 resoldering fee + tax) for a gift I no longer need AND I had to purchase another gift for my dear friend for her actual birthday. Extremely disappointed....

We were responded back quickly with several days and times we could come in for a one-on-one consultation with Jordan, the manager of the Oakville location. We were welcomed into the store by Jordan with a huge smile and genuine excitement for our next step as a couple. She was extremely knowledgeable and proud of Bluâs mission and was willing to take as much time as needed while I bounced around the store as the real life heart eye emoji. She spent quality time with us explaining the background and meaning of each ring I tried on. There was one ring that they did not have in store that they had driven down for me to try on just two days later. Amazing. Jordan truly made this experience easy and exciting - how it should be. If youâre looking for the most genuine customer service and most beautiful, one-of-a-kind rings, and jewellery, go to Bluboho in Oakville (or Toronto locations - the girls are all squad goals) and speak with Jordan.
