Went in to this store with my female family members. Very Limited selection. Overpriced. Found many of the same dresses at other stores for much less of a markup. Also I should note that the staff was unwelcoming to say the least. My mother who has limited mobility tried on about 8 dresses and the older woman who works there with the short hair and glasses left her in the dressing room to help herself as we continued to search. Did not even offer to zip up the dresses or assist ... It was really baffling ... I would think it is the least you can do in a women’s evening gown store ?? It’s worth mentioning that there were NO other customers in the store. Not like she was busy. She even went outside to chase down a pedastrian she knew to have a chat, leaving my mother alone. I went outside to see where she went and we ended up leaving . Passed her on the street and she did not even mention goodbye or make eye contact. Laughably poor customer service. Rude! When another family member inquired about sizing and measurements, this old lady even had the nerve to say “wow, me, me, me! All she is concerned with is herself.” Lady... you work in a dress store. You’re open for like 5 hours (yes super limited hours). Your job is to Zip people up and take measurements. Not that hard....

I recently visited By Tocca to look for a mother of the bride dress. I fell in love with one, only to be informed that the store did not have my size and that they could not order one in as it was no longer being manufactured. Kari, however, saved the day. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She called the dress manufacturer and they were able to tell her what other stores in Canada received the dress and what size. It happened that a store in Montreal had received one, and Kari asked for their phone number, called on my behalf, verified that they still had it, asked them to send a picture via text to verify, and then left it to me to place an order. The dress arrived at my door 4 days later and I am thrilled.Kari, thank you so very much! I owe you a bottle of wine and look forward to delivering it in person when I am next in Oakville. I needed a dress for a special event and was told to check this place out seeing as they carry so many lines, including some high end designers. After hearing that they were in Oakville, I was a little sceptical and intimidated, but I was in need, so put my big girl shoes on and went for it. All I can say is WOW. I was totally blown away. Maria, the girl that helped me, was AWESOME! Pulled so many dresses for me to try.. and made me step outside of my comfort zone, which I am so not used to.. Boy am I glad I listened! I have never felt so appreciated as a customer and so glamorous!! I got so many compliments at my function.. something that I am also not used to... What an amazing feeling! First time but will NOT be my last! LOVE LOVE this place!!...
