If you’re anywhere near Windsor, Victoria Salvadoran Restaurant is an absolute gem you cannot miss. I am from Detroit, and as soon as I opened the door, the warm aroma of freshly grilled seafood, slow-cooked beans, and handmade pupusas hit me. it was like stepping straight into the heart of El Salvador and Mexico all at once.

We started with their famous pupusas, hot off the griddle, oozing with cheese and served with tangy curtido. Then came the shrimp tacos perfectly seasoned, nestled in soft tortillas, paired with a creamy house sauce, earthy black beans, and Salvadoran rice so flavorful it could be a meal on its own. The fried seafood platter was next level crispy, golden, and brimming with flavour, like something you’d get beachside in Central America. And don’t skip the cheese empanadas! sweet, airy little pockets of heaven.

What makes Victoria even more special is Hosay, the owner. He personally checked on our table, very kind and kept the heaven on his plates coming and making sure everything was perfect. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. you feel like a guest in someone’s home rather than a customer.

Victoria is a low key, chill spot, but the food is bold, authentic, and unforgettable. Whether you’re a casual diner or a true foodie, this place is the real deal. Trust me, once you’ve been, you’ll already be planning...

Was not a plasant expariance, we were there last saturday. service was rather fast but when I went to pay the balance, total did not match what we ordered, our total was to come to total of 48$ yet I was charged 76$ I paid and went back to my table but could not hold back and went back to the owenr/the person who took the charges.. his answer was the prices on the manue have changed and we did not update the manue .. we had open Appetizer which was priced for 9.99$, one Entree that was prced for 26$ and two beers that was each 6$ total of 12$ before taxes should be 48$ and sure on top will be taxes ...when he was questioned he said appetizer price have changed to 18.99 and Entree is 30$ but yet non of these prices was mentioned when we placed the order he did not offer to give us the money back ....This is how business will lose customer, will not go back ..I will tell about my expariance with him to whoever mention...

How is this place not packed at all times?

The whole place looked clean and inviting. Lots of space at the tables, no worries about tiny little spaces to eat. Everyone there was super nice, and excellent at what they do. Prices are absolutely fair.

The food though. Gods. I tried the papusas and they were pretty good! Would probably only need a couple to be satisfied. I ordered those to go, and they rewarmed nice in the oven and made for a great dinner. I had lunch earlier the same day, and had the Tacos Al Pastor. I totally dig corn tortillas, and the flavour on these things is just delightful. I was happy with the portion, amazed by the flavour, and pleased with the presentation! I'm told they have birria as well, and now I just have to go back to try that out. I am looking forward to returning though. I am confident it's going to be excellent...

Ordered delivery from this restaurant but I was hungry and mostly forgot to take pictures lol We ordered Steak Tacos, Beef Nachos, Tres Leches Cake and Quesadilla - Dessert. The nachos and the tres leches were pretty good but I didn't really care for the tacos or quesadilla dessert. Over all I found there were too many onions in the food and that was the predominant taste of everything. I also found the steak in the tacos to be tough and the quesadilla dessert was dry. Based on the other options in the city I'm not sure if I'd order it again, perhaps a dine in visit in the future.

Sweet little spot with a family vibe. Full bar/LLBO as well. We ate delicious tacos, homemade salsa, and huge, cheesy, flavorful pupusas with great fillings: loroco, zucchini, beans and cheese among others. Rice was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned, portions were generous without being extravagant. Friendly and attentive service, too. Bit of a hidden gem just outside the main downtown area.
