We finally made it to try Hakka Khazana in Windsor, a spot I had heard so much about. To be honest, I walked in with high expectations but left a little disappointed. Hakka cuisine, often described as a fusion of Nepalese, Indian, and Chinese influences, is supposed to highlight the best flavors of all three traditions balanced spices, layered textures, and distinctive ingredients. Unfortunately, what we experienced didn’t quite live up to that reputation. Almost every dish we ordered came drenched in sauce so much so that it overpowered the natural flavors of the proteins. The chicken, and seafood all tasted the same, and we found it hard to distinguish one dish from another. The sauces dominated the experience, masking the freshness and character that should have been the highlight of the meal. While the service was friendly and the portions generous, the lack of balance in the food made it difficult to enjoy. Instead of savoring the subtle spices or appreciating the unique blend of Hakka cooking, we were left trying to guess what we were eating beneath the overwhelming flavors of the sauce. In short, I really wanted to like this place especially given the reputation Hakka cuisine carries, but the execution fell short for me.

#Hakkakhazana in Windsor.. (Being a customer since 2 years in this restaurant ) Sharing this review with full proof video and receipt. Please dear manager of hakka khazana if you see this review please keep this thing into consideration if you really want to improve ur service and market. I ordered ‘chicken jhol momo’ this was the quantity and quality of pickle or achar i reveived. I called the restaurant to talk . I happened to talk with your staff named Usha. Sooooo rude arrogant the way she responded and talked and even lied that they haven’t received any order of jhol momo. She even said that jhol momo ma achar jadainaaa kaile pani re.. Me being a customer of hakka khazana since 2 years since i came to canada and i have ordered sooooo many times the same dish from hakka khazana and i dont know that jhol momo ma achar aauxa ki aaudaina ??? Rather than lying and talking in a nonsense way to a customer, learn to accept mistakes and improve in future days . Such a worstttt managers staffs and service . This is not the first time i am experiencing this from your restaurant… Respected manager , you want then lets meet and talk in person…

We went with our friends and their families to this restaurant last night. We mainly ate only appetizers and soup over there and thoroughly enjoyed all the appetizers. The best dishes were the chicken lollipop, chicken chili momos, veg chili momos, chicken chili fry and the veggie Manchurian dry. We placed repeated orders for the chicken chili momos as they were ABSOLUTELY delicious. We got the veg and chicken Manchurian soup and the tom yum soup which were not great in taste. We were so happy with the food that we placed multiple to go orders for ourselves and other families from Detroit area. Unfortunately all the to-go orders for rice and noodles WERE A BIG FLOP. The picture in the review is of the Chicken schezuan rice which has BARELY any veggies, three pieces of overdried chicken and a ton of food color with uncooked rice. It was heartbreaking for over 3 to 4 families to throw away their food in the trash since the rice was uncooked And there was nothing other than rice in the dishes. We will still visit this place and get their momos and lollypop but will definitely refrain from the rice and noodle dishes.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Hakka Khazana in Windsor, Ontario, and I must say that my experience was a mixed bag. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the restaurant's great vibe. The decor was modern and sleek, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The lighting was dim but not too dim, and the background music was subtle but added to the overall ambiance.

The service was also top-notch. The server was friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and make recommendations. The staff were knowledgeable about the dishes and were happy to answer any questions we had. The service was prompt and efficient, with our food arriving in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lollipop Chicken and Schezwan Fried Rice, both of which I'd heard great things about. The Lollipop Chicken was very wet on the outside and tender on the inside, but the flavours were somewhat one-dimensional. The sauce was sweet and sticky, but it lacked a depth of flavour that I've come to expect from Hakka cuisine. The Schezwan Fried Rice was similarly underwhelming, with a lack of wok hei (the smoky flavour that comes from stir-frying over high heat) that I've experienced at other Hakka restaurants.

Don't get me wrong, the food was by no means bad. It was tolerable, and I finished both dishes without complaint. But given the hype surrounding Hakka Khazana, I was expecting something more. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dishes, or maybe the kitchen was having an off day. Whatever the reason, I left feeling somewhat disappointed.

Despite the food not living up to my expectations, I would still recommend Hakka Khazana to fans of Hakka cuisine. The atmosphere and service are top-notch, and the prices are reasonable. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, or maybe I need to try some of their other dishes. Whatever the case, I'm willing to give them another shot in the future.

Overall, I'd give Hakka Khazana 3 out of 5 stars. While the atmosphere and service were great, the food was just average. If you're a fan of Hakka cuisine, it's worth checking out, but don't go in with sky-high...

PLEASE read this before jumping to conclusions based on the last few reviews. I find the last 4 reviews ridiculous because it is a targeted review, They came together last night after the Canada Day Fireworks show. They were excited when the food came and finished almost all of it (no, I wasn't stalking, something you can't ignore), and took some home what is left. How did I know you ask? I was right there with friends on the other table enjoying my dinner after the Canada Day firework show. They were very happy and said "Very good, we came here multiple times before". The restaurant was supposed to be open until midnight, and the server went above and beyond to serve them even after midnight. With that being said, why they chose to give a bad review? I think they didn't like the fact that they were asked to pay a 15% gratuity since they were more than 6 people. We saw and heard the conversation, and not even once that the server raised his voice or sound rude(good job whatever that server's name is), in fact, it was the complete opposite they were super rude particularly that one "Princess" with a very annoying voice, she was loudest. When the guy offered to split the bill to avoid that 15% that "Princess" said "We should not have to offer, it's their job to ask us if we want to split the bill while we were on the table" (it's not their job by the way)I don't know what kind of entitlement that she thinks she has 😂. She was saying "I asked for a takeout bag, and you still didn't give me a bag" but the poor server was stuck with her other friend explaining the situation. I don't understand why they would take leftover food home if they puked the food they ate. wanted to confront them yesterday, but I thought it was not my place to jump into it, then I thought of becoming a keyboard warrior instead. 😂 Moral of the story is anyone can write a review online, good or bad, not realizing how much that review impacts...

Having ordered from this place multiple times, I can confidently say that it has become one of my top choices for a delightful dining experience.

One of the standout dishes that keeps me coming back for more is their Chilli Chicken Momo. These delectable dumplings are bursting with flavor in every bite. The combination of tender chicken, aromatic spices, and the perfect amount of heat creates a mouthwatering sensation that never fails to satisfy my cravings.

Portion sizes at Hakka Khazana are just right, ensuring that you get a fulfilling meal without feeling overwhelmed. The attention to detail in their food presentation is also commendable, making each dish visually appealing and enticing.

Beyond the delicious food, the staff at Hakka Khazana are friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate any special requests or dietary preferences. The welcoming and warm atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal with friends or family.

For me, Hakka Khazana has truly become a favorite spot in town for momos. The consistently flavorful and mouthwatering dishes, combined with the excellent service and pleasant ambiance, make it a go-to restaurant whenever I'm craving these delightful dumplings.

I highly recommend Hakka Khazana to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors, exceptional service, and a cozy dining environment. It's definitely a gem worth exploring, and I can't wait to return for another memorable...
