Family Food Market — Local services in Toronto

🦋 We love this place! As soon as you walk through a set of doors, on the left hand side you are instantly greeted with fresh fruits, veggies and herbs.

Everything is neatly organized and there are big baskets that hold various food items. The food has ALWAYS been fresh when we buy it from here and they have everything we need.

The workers are always cleaning up and refill the level of food to make it look clean and stocked. There are 2 checkout counters that make it a lot more efficient when it gets busy. We are almost always cashed out by the older lady and she is always SO nice to us.

We are super grateful and so thankful to her and the way we feel when leaving there with a bag full of delicious and fresh food.

I was in this store Friday the 27 th of June. I’ve been coming here over 10 years. The young blonde lady at the cash would not let me use the plastic bags on the roll to put my fruits and vegetables in , When I got to the cash she put the bags behind her, I’m not sure if the owner told her to do this….??Why are they on the roll if you can’t use them. I asked her why I can’t put them in the bag and she shook her head. I’m telling all my family and friends not to go here. Never spending another dime here ever again. The rating should be minus 5. I work so hard for my money and I don’t need this disrespectful...

Such a cute and wonderful market tucked away in the heart of historical St. Lawrence Market!

What I love most about this cute market is the selection of very, very fresh fruits and vegetables.

People stop shopping at the major grocery stores and start shopping locally and at the St. Lawrence Market.

The vegetables and fruits are mostly locally grown, are very fresh, and so much cheaper than shopping at the major grocery stores.

Also, excellent and friendly customer service is always willing to assist and...
