I just spent 15 dollars on 4 nectarines and 2 small bunches of asparagus. This is even crazier than Loblaws. Donât know if the man did the calculations wrong or the price in Toronto is just crazy but the fact that the pricing isnât transparent and clear I wonât ever come back. Those asparagus better be the most delicious Iâll ever taste in the world and the nectarines better be a sweet as nectar or even sweeter. That mouth of food for 15 dollars is robbery
Edit: I just tried the nectarines, so sour. The ones I got from Chinatown are way better and sweeter and actually smells like a nectarine. The ones I got here is just sad. Pure sadness. They sell very fresh seasonal produce from brussel sprouts, heirloom tomatoes, mushrooms, fruits etc.
Staff is uber friendly and helpful, just ask and they will be glad to help you out. The owner is Italian (hope I didn't get this wrong) so do pardon the spelling sometimes.
Prices are reasonable for the selection and quality of foods. I would recommend coming here to get consistently fresh seasonal vegetables which are usually a little inferior at the big name supermarkets as they don't put stuff that's turning bad on...
