The gourmet and specialty candy game continues with Ricardo's here on Granville. It seems like everyone wants a piece of the action and that's okay, I think there is enough to go around. Dank Mart has the things that they specialize in and other stores, theirs. I come to Ricardo's because it is close to work and because they have the best selection of bulk, gummies and sours, which let's face it, are the best bang for your buck. I've lived in the US for an extended period of time so I know what some of the American candy/sweets is worth so I've never bothered with those. The reviews saying some of these items are overpriced, well, a lot of it is import and that costs money. Shipping, customs fees and brokers, you get to share in those costs.

Read morePretty bad. Bulk candy is nearly $4 per 100g which is ridiculous considering you can find a lot of what they carry at grocery stores for like half the price. A lot of it is stale as well. For the price you should get premium quality. The guy working there just stares at you the entire time you shop as if you're going to steal something (and no I don't look like a street person). I had a more enjoyable experience at their ice cream shop but I won't be returning to either since they very obviously post fake 5 ⭐ Google reviews for themselves. Any reputable business doesn't need to do shady...
