Sun Wah Centre — Local services in Vancouver

Although no longer the "mall" it used to be, it's now home to varying art galleries/shops and worker's offices. Pretty quiet/dark place and not much people present. Oddly I think that's quite peaceful in a way. Brings me a bit of nostalgia despite having recently discovered it. Oh well. Not much here though, except for the escalator and (broken) elevator (at the time of this review). Bathrooms are here also, but are locked behind a key for those who have leased a space here can unlock. But with its age, a simple jiggle to the doorknob can unlock it no problem. Good luck having soap though, as there isn't much...

The mall is empty, you can't just walk in there. You have to call a number to have someone open the door for you. On Keefer St, there's literally no parking and this mall has 100s of empty stalls. Their payment machine is really hard. They should come up with an easier payment method and also put up more signs so people who can't find a spot on the street to park here and also the hourly parking should be reasonable.

I just feel bad for such a big place to be used while people can't find a spot out...

Great Community Centre! Just wished they could draw more business vendors or have special events ( on going ) to keep the spirit and its Centre going! So far its the Artists who has their studios or art gallery there. Center A and the Scotiabank. Pretty much in the hidden area of the Centre. Hope there will be some more vibes and other bigger businesses or local vendor to fill up the Centre! Looking forward to its Reborn...
