MAC Cosmetics — Local services in Vaughan

absolutely the worst location I have EVER been to. I walked into the store and noticed that there was no staff outside to greet or check in with me after browsing for a few moments two ladies came out from the side room laughing and speaking very loud about their other customer experiences(speaking about their customers in a bad and degrading way) I over heard one of the girls call the other girl by a name - Gina - but im not sure who the other employee was they looked very similar both had brown hair and same in height .. immediately hearing the degrading term one of the girls used to describe a client I was shocked and walked out. I have been a customer to this company for years my own mother was a devoted customer as well but hearing how those two employees speak about their bad customer experiences without the care of other customers being able to hear left a bad taste in my mouth. The store's atmosphere is already very intimidating especially for someone who is not an experienced makeup fanatic or professional and after hearing them speak on other women using degrading words I will most definitely NEVER be...

Like all the makeup products shops, staff here is rude here as hell too….Went there yesterday and had a bad experience…..first i waited to be helped for a long time, while two staff members were very busy in their gossip, one was taking out trash and other was just hanging around with her…..then out of two girls on counter, one walked out of the couter for something and i asked her for help…..she gave me whole 4 minutes and put two foundations on my face and just when i needed her opinion about which one to go for, she rudly left saying “pick the color yourself”…never came back…..why the staff in makeup stores doesnt ubderstand that all the people on earth dont bathe in makeup everyday, some are new to the world of makeup, lots of people are inexperienced and need help….on the contrary all staff becomes rude and looks down on you if asked for help….sephora people do this every single time, no one can beat their arrogance and rudeness so i left going there….really wanted a foundation urgently, thats why went to mac, needless to say, wont be going there again. Two stars are for putting that...

Stopped by Mack makeup on my shopping trip today at Vaughan Mills mall. Picked up an eyeliner. The lady who worked there was helpful and knew the products very well. There were many different eyeliners to choose from go figure… However she explained every one of the eyeliners to me and what they were used for the pros and cons and I was able to pick out the right eyeliner and colour. The eyeliner with taxes was exactly $37.29 in my opinion you’re paying for a quality product but you’re also paying for a professional to help you pick out the right items for your lifestyle and your personal look. I was also curious about make up application if I have an evening out or an event to attend… She mentioned that a full face of make up evening...
