This review is not about makers in general, but about a specific small business they support and sell products out. I bought a pair of earring from the seller @clubfawnco and they turned green after a day of wear. I messaged them on instagram and they asked me to email them and then never responded. I started leaving comments on their pictures on instagram to let them know I had emailed and am waiting for a response. I checked their account a few weeks later when I hadn’t heard back and found out they were deleting my comments. So clearly, the seller is seeing them and just straight up ignoring me. To this day, she is still deleting my comments and I purchased these earrings all the way back in September. This sort of behaviour is disrespectful and horrible customer service. Makers Vaughan Mills is the perfect place if you are looking for a unique gift for someone special or just want to indulge yourself while supporting local artists. The store is full of handmade items that you won't find at the big box store. You can tell they are high quality and made with care. When I was at the store I got to meet one of the artists and it was nice to see the person behind the product. It felt good to support an artist's ambitions. Worst customer service. Manager itself is fraud. She didn’t sent me the transaction receipt on email as i came back to return the broken neck peice and says we can’t help. She typed wrong email and because of that I didn’t received the email though i was receiving emails from other companies but not from them. These brand is completely untrustworthy.
