Fairmont Whistler is definitely a must stay for when you ski or just visit whistler. I stayed in the alpine room with mountain view. The hotel did a wonderful job at making sure everything was perfect. The sms service is the best way to communicate with the hotel. Response time is very quick. The welcome gift of strawberries and macaroons definitely started the stay off just right. The staff always sent a text if I need anything else. The room was super clean, the bed was the most comfortable ever. I really liked the bedsheets. Usually it takes a while for me to fall asleep but not at the fairmont. One thing though that was a bit frustrating was the room air circulation fan. It had a rumble to it. Luckily it turns off once in a while lol. The restaurants were all amazing. Really enjoyed the grill room and breakfast at mayflower. The buffet was just a perfect blend of everything needed to make your breakfast dreams come to reality. The spa itself is good. I'm a family man myself but did not come with the squad this time due to work restrictions but I would definitely bring my kids here. I was really amazed on how kid friendly the spa/pool area is. The only thing lacking was a good quality cold plunge after sauna / steam / barrel saunas. Even a bucket that auto fills after pulling a rope would be grand. In summary the staff at the fairmont are all very friendly and eager to make your stay the best possible. Will...
Read moreOne of the best massages ever! We did a couples massage, I had Brenda and my fiancé had Adrian as our massage therapists.
I have some back and hip issues š“š» and my fiancĆ© was having knee issues and a migraine š¦µš¤Æ. After only a brief conversation with them, they zeroās in on our trouble areas and did a phenomenal job. Weāre 30ās / 40ās and the pressure was pretty firm, aggressive, yet not painful. They were spot on!
My fiancƩ loved the head massage which helped her migraine and her knee was no longer hurting after.
It was nice they allow guests of the spa to use the hot tub, outdoor sauna, and steam room. The only downside is that itās mixed in with all the other hotel guests and there were lots of kids, but wasnāt terrible and the four seasons doesnāt even allow you to use their pool amenities which is prominently featured on their spa home page š¤Æš¤¦š»āāļø I was grateful to have acccess and the massage was awesome so no complaints!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe best pool area of all the hotels in Whistler. If you stay at the Fairmont and then go spend a few hours at The Scandinave Spa, you're wasting your money. I've stayed at the Fairmont in Whistler several times and have also visited the Scandinave Spa a few times. In winter time, the Fairmont has two outdoor saunas ( also one inside year-round), an outdoor firepit, three hot tubs (2 outdoor and 1 indoor) a steam room in each of the changing rooms and two large pools. There is also complimentary tea/coffee, infused water. The Fairmont is only missing the cold plunge pools (which I don't use at the Scandinave anyhow). The changing room is beautiful. Each shower stall has a separate area within the stall for changing in private. It is stocked with toiletries, fluffy towels and combination code lockers. If you forget your bath robe in the room, they have them there at the desk. You'll pay extra for a robe at the...
