China Ferry Terminal — Local services in Hong Kong

If you are travelling in a hurry going to Macau and back to Hongkong for me this is the fastest way to do it. One can appreciate the scenery of one if not the longest bridge in the world..

It's very convenient with just one hour travel time. They provide 2 classes of services; Economy and Super Class. The prices are 2 times different (164HK$ for Economy and 326HK$ for Super). Also there are ticket sellers for 150HK$ infront of the ticket booths. Same price for mids though.

The Super Class comes with the meals, drinks, newspapers during the day.. They also have free Wi-Fi onboard. The Super Class passengers has VIP lounge..

Now, I didn't purchase a cellphone SIM card for Macau so I hope I don't regret my decision. Heck, it was only about 30 years ago we were still using paper maps.

I'm here at the Kowloon ferry terminal to go over to Macau for the day.

Post covid, ferry service to mainland is resumed in this terminal. It is still convenient as before. You may buy tickets at the counter or redeem the tickets if you bought it online. You have to provide travel documents for ticket purchase which is the latest policy in place for few years already. Ferry is still my preferred way vs bus especially when you travel with luggage.
