Last time I've been there, it was a very limited experience especially for a tourist. One elderly seller was very unfriendly and hostile, he refused to let me take photographs of the birds. Overall ruined my experience, ended up leaving before I could finish the rest of the tour of the bird garden, as I wasted several minutes giving that horrible bird seller cold glares and heated arguments. Avoid this place if you can, also agree with other visitors that the birds seem to be suffering in those cramped cages and something needs to be done about it. About half of the shops weren’t open, and of the ones that were many had their cages covered with tarps and burlap so there was not much to see. I was really looking forward to seeing the shop with the old style bird cages, but that’s wasn’t meant to be as it was closed. There were just some old men sitting around smoking. The energy was kind of negative. Maybe exotic bird sales have declined?
