Ever since crystal jade was sold to LVMH, the quality of the food and service has gone downhill. We came here on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, it was not that busy. The waiter didn't even greet us nor said hi. We sat down, the waiters threw down the qr code and told us to order from there. We ordered the usual - Xiao long Bao arrived cold after a 20 mins wait. The waiter came and literally threw the plate of Guo Tie dumplings at our table and left in a hurry. The cold dishes took 30 mins to arrive. We had to go to the counter to pay. Zero service. This place is worst than the one in IFC. Surprised LVMH owns this chain, it doesn't reflect the quality LVMH represents. ...

Despite eating at Crystal Jade numerous times, I pretty much restrict myself to a few of the limited dim sum options - I love the 'Xiao Long Bao' at this chain! The 'pan fried pork dumplings' are also good (so juicy inside). My other go to dish is the 'pork wonton with hot chili vinaigrette', although that wasn't as good (or as spicy) as normal.
Service is prompt, and the dishes come out quickly if you're in a hurry.
Based on how good the dim sum is, one day I really should try...
Read morePerhaps it was the choice of my dish a simple noodle one that skews my experience, however the waiting time for my meal to appear was unsatisfactory at best. Good thing that I was here on a day off otherwise the outcome would be different. As it was still with my laid-back schedule I nearly left, kudos to the waiter with his literally split second timing to save me from embarrassing the staff. Do they have any consciousness of keeping customers waiting? If you are local please chime in. I will recommend the restaurant to a friend or relative perhaps they will have a better result.
