Old Carlsbad Grill — Local services in okres Karlovy Vary

Worst experience of my life! Instead of waiting 15 minutes as agreed, I asked for my order after 50 minutes. Unfortunately they forgot our order! If I had not told them, they would not have prepared it.

They did not apologise, in fact! They did not want to give me my money back, but asked me to leave in a very unfriendly manner if I refused to wait any longer.

A menu of only junk food

The place is very crowded and untidy.

Hygiene is not appropriate.

The food arrived after 60 minutes. Not bad gyros, but far from good, so they deserved 1 star.

In many ways they mimic Mcdonalds, but they have not put the effort into automating order taking, process control and HACCP processes! Nice, enticing food photography, Mcdonalds style, that's what the money was for.

The prices are expensive!

The service was so bad that I am thinking of contacting the consumer protection.

We ordered a chimney cake with ice cream, but were told rather curtly that it wasn’t available. So we settled for a plain chimney cake without ice cream. However, just a few minutes later, we saw another customer being served exactly what we had originally ordered — a chimney cake with ice cream.

It wasn’t late at all; it was just after lunchtime. We couldn’t understand what had happened. It left us wondering if it might have been a case of discrimination, and unfortunately, it changed the way we felt about...

We ordered a bubble waffle and a pistachio trdelnik. It was good - the waffle was juicy and hearty, the trdelnik was dry (not crispy) on the outside, but the pistachio cream was excellent.

The service leaves much to be desired - employees walk with poker faces and as if they do not want to see visitors there. Not that I asked to spread a red carpet in front of the guests, but at least a smile would be nice... Hence the rather...
