رمالة - Rmallah cafe - coffee & cookies — Restaurant in Luxor City

Very disappointing in all honesty.... We saw amazing review and pictures here and decided to give it a try.

Firstly, they don't have a menu. So you need to wait for the guy to open 1 by 1 whatsapp pictures. Then, half of the items on the menu aren't available. So you basically have limited options. The cookies are freshly made in the oven and take around 10-15 mins.

Then the interior is nice, but it's a place full of young teens smoking inside and making loud noises. So we decided to wait to get our order and leave. But the order took over 25 minutes, where we had to sit in the smoke and the noise.

The iced coffee was nice, the chocolate ice cream was not good at all, and the coffee was delicious but overpriced. On top of this, we were charged 30 Egypt pounds...

Can’t say enough great things about this cafe and its staff and patrons. Had a beautiful community vibe and great decor.

We ordered iced coffees and they were spot on - exactly what you’d expect from high end cafes - delicious.
