Bouttau Residence - Cannes — Local services in Grasse

We stayed here for 4 days during the summer. The only thing I liked was the fact that everything was accessible from this place, on the contrary, it's located on a busy alley. Several restaurants are just below the room we stayed at. Maintenance of the place was really poor. Our apartment had a terrible smell. Air conditioning wasn't working well, it was pouring water and flooding the floor of the living room, had to put towels on it. It was hot and we had to open our window during the night which was a terrible idea because it was noisy outside, there were a lot of passersby even during late hours. we was told we had to pay cleaning service of £70 when we arrived there. This is a shock as we was not informed of this before hand. The service of the lady at the hotel was unprofessional and poor. I would not recommend people to stay at this hotel. The photos are not true reflection of how the hotel looks in real life. They have uncomfortable sofa beds and not actual beds. C’est la première fois que je poste un avis car cela m’a paru indispensable pour de futurs voyageurs. Le studio dans lequel j’ai logé était infesté de punaises de lit. Il y en avait un nombre impressionnant, tel que les responsables de l’établissement ne pouvaient l’ignorer avant mon arrivée. Vérifier donc qu’un traitement de fond a été fait avant d’y réserver… Cela dit, la personne qui s’est occupée de l’arrivée était prévenante et courtoise, et a très bien compris que j’interrompe mon séjour après la première nuit. Une réclamation est en cours.

Update : après une nuit dans ce studio, j’ai vécu un enfer. J’étais recouverte de centaines de piqûres de punaises de lit des pieds à la tête (j’ai de nombreuses photos que je préfère ne pas publier). J’ai dû jeter un grand nombre d’affaires pour ne pas en ramener chez moi. Nous avons été remboursés du séjour. Mais je pense qu’une grande partie des avis positifs ci-dessous sont faux, compte tenu de l’hygiène et de l’expérience déplorables. Avis aux voyageurs...
