Nutritional Perspective: One highlight of my visit to La Favorite Saint-Paul was their herbal infusion. Herbal teas are a soothing and healthful choice, offering benefits like improved digestion, reduced stress, and hydration. Packed with antioxidants and naturally caffeine-free, they’re perfect for a relaxing moment in a bustling city like Paris.
Cultural and Historical Note: La Favorite Saint-Paul sits in the heart of Paris, reflecting a blend of classic Parisian charm and modern chic. The name “La Favorite” evokes a nostalgic nod to elegance and indulgence, fitting for a city where café culture is as much about the atmosphere as the food and drink. This café’s aesthetic and menu celebrate the vibrant café tradition while giving it a contemporary twist.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere here is undeniably appealing—pinky, Parisian, cool, and chic. From the décor to the location, it’s the perfect spot for soaking in a bit of Parisian glamour. It’s ideal for snapping a few photos or simply enjoying a stylish coffee break in a lively area.
Staff Behavior: The staff was polite and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the visit.
Value for Money: Unfortunately, the value doesn’t quite match the vibe. For instance, the hot chocolate was a letdown—it arrived cold and tasted mostly like milk, falling short of expectations, especially given the pricing.
Final Thoughts: La Favorite Saint-Paul is worth visiting for its aesthetic and ambiance rather than its food and drinks. If you’re looking for a chic Parisian spot to relax or enjoy the vibe, this is the place, but don’t expect the...
Read moreThe food was ok, the Ratatouille wasa really good. On the other hand we would like to comment on the service. We were AMAZINGLY received by a sweet woman who was very sociable and reactive, but we asked kindly one of the waitresses who was wearing a very short green/khaki dress and who I think has bangs to take 1 picture of us (which takes approximately 5 seconds) and she rudely told us : “Ah non désolé mais j’ai pas le temps-là”, rudely meaning : “ sorry but i don’t have time”. This left us speechless, considering that pictures posted on social media is a HUGE part of the restaurant’s marketing strategy. After this incident, we asked the same lady for some bread but she never brought it to us, thankfully the other charming waitress gave us some bread directly when we politely asked her. We still have no idea why she gave us that attitude, but I guess you need to normalize unnecessarily rude waitresses in this city, which is such a shame for a beautiful capital like Paris… And trust me, taking 5 seconds of your time to take your customer’s picture won’t kill you. On the contrary, it would save you from having horrible comments on the internet and a pitiful 3,2/5...
