I can’t believe what I was experiencing here. If you are thinking to go to this branch, I suggest to go to any other branches.

Long version: I went here to ask about my pochette’s broken chain. The first lady talking to me was so nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I talked to the second staff that disregarded my pochette issue. I attached the picture of how small the pochette is and what I put. I think I used it for the most basic use case for woman.

So, the day before, the pochette falled to ground since the chain was broken. It was very embarassing.

I purchased the pochette last year and barely used it. I know the staff wouldn’t have a way to verify it.

What I found very inconvinient for me: He insisted it’s my fault in a way, by asking question like “I can see something happened.” Well, Sir, of course something happened so that the chain broke. What’s with that empty rhetoric sentence? Then he said “maybe your friend did something?” LIKE SERIOUSLY? He also mentioned things like “Maybe you put rocks in it?” and laugh as it is a joke to which I replied “Why would I put rock in it?” And he replied back “Oh you never know what people did, I’ve seen them all”

Okay LV, is this how you treat your customer? By blaming them instead of acknowledging their issue? I attached the picture of the broken chain, you can see the broken one was actually the thinnest one.

He disregards my complain by saying that he knew how broken hardware looked if it’s really natural, he said “it will look like whoosh whoosh” to which I replied “What is whoosh whoosh?” And he cant explain. Is this how an professional explanation? As shocked I was with his explanation, I just know nothing he will help with (well, yes, ofc maybe with quote but..)

I said “maybe the quality of your chain is not so good. Well, I know that shouldn’t be the issue as LV product has good quality” to which he replied with a strange laugh and said for sure it is not quality issue.

Seriously, LV, check your CCTV if you dont believe me.

I didn’t expect to get chain replacement for free. But, is it too much that I expected the staf to acknowledge that broken chain can occur to LV product naturally, that they will send back feedback about it, and that they can’t do anything and sorry that I need to go through this issue and extra cost?

I am so disappointed especially by the way the staff in this branch...

This is the best LV boutique in the world. My wife and I have visited many LV and other luxury shops in various parts of the world and none come close to the level of attention, friendliness, informativeness, and compassion as this Louis Vuitton boutique at Printemps Haussmann Paris.

Emmanuelle greeted my wife, son, and I warmly only moments after we entered the shop. He listened carefully to my wife and showed her every bag in which she could possibly be interested. He never made her feel rushed during her long decision process, even when a line started forming at the door (which they do in order to provide excellent personal service like we received). We were frequently offered beverages. He kindly and humbly offered his opinion and shared his vast knowledge of LV's history and designs. He didn't even blink when we openly considered postponing the purchase until our trip to Italy, but offered unbiased facts to assist in our decision. Once a decision was made Emmanuelle smoothly processed the payment and monogram hot stamp and even offered to hot stamp her previously purchased LV bag within the hour.

After we left the store, we headed out to grab some quick dinner while waiting for the hot stamp to be completed. Somehow in the restaurant or on the street a pickpocket swiped my wife's wallet and her LV removable zippered clutch (with passports). We didn't discover this until we returned to the LV shop to pick up the hot stamped bags. Emmanuelle and the staff were incredibly supportive in our moment of panic and despair.

They graciously let us sit at their counter and make calls to cancel credit cards. They provided the nearest police station information and helped us figure out our next steps. Then OUT OF THE BLUE, they gave my wife a brand new replacement LV removable zippered clutch. This was so above and beyond any expectation and we were so mentally frantic at the time, that we feel we never properly thanked them for their kindness and generosity.

THANK YOU Emmanuelle and Louis Vuitton boutique at Printemps Haussmann Paris! My wife loves her new handbag and the replacement zippered clutch...

An arrogant old French man was the one who “welcomed” us. Right from the start, his attitude was unbelievably rude. He asked how many of us were going in, and I said five since I was helping my family pick out gifts. Then he had the audacity to say, “Are all of you actually buying something? Or should only those who are purchasing come in?” I’ve never heard anything like this before.

So, I decided to go in first with one of my family members. Just as we started browsing, this guy immediately asked, “Are you looking for a specific bag? I can just grab it for you.” But I had already told him at the entrance that I wanted to take a look first before deciding. A moment later, one of his colleagues came over and spoke to him—probably because they had seen us browsing the official website while waiting in line, realizing we were actually serious buyers. And just like that, his attitude did a complete 180. Suddenly, he was all polite: “I’m so sorry, my friend, I apologize for my behavior earlier. Is there a particular bag you’re looking for?”

At that point, I had zero patience left for his unprofessionalism, so I just walked out. Later, my whole family went to the Louis Vuitton Maison at Place VendĂŽme and ended up purchasing five bags without any of this nonsense.

So here’s my advice: Do yourself a favor and avoid LV purchasing here:

Their service is completely unprofessional—easily the worst LV experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. Rude, arrogant, and clueless. They only want to serve people who they think will buy, but they have absolutely no ability to recognize actual buyers. They don’t even bother with the basics of customer service.

If you want a proper shopping experience, go to another LV store. At least there, you’ll be treated like a customer—not an...

4 Days and 3 Nights in Paris: My Honest Thoughts 1. **Eating**: Trust the French palate! Foie gras, escargots, steak, and desserts were all insanely delicious. Don't blindly follow restaurant recommendations on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book)! It's unnecessary! Just use Google Maps to find places with a 4.6+ rating and lots of reviews—you won't go wrong! I randomly picked a few 4.8-rated spots nearby, and they were so good I almost clapped my hands raw! Plus, prices are way cheaper than in Hong Kong. You can spend anywhere from 20-80 euros per person, depending on your budget. 2. **Drinking**: I can't comment on wine since I don't drink, but a cup of "Yidiandian" milk tea cost me 7.5 euros—I'm shook. Restaurant prices for Coke and sparkling water range from 3-6 euros, but you can get them for just 1 euro at the supermarket. 3. **Sightseeing**: Avoid the Eiffel Tower during the day—it's uniquely dirty (see pic 1). And don't go to Montmartre at night—it's disturbingly chaotic with a strong smell of urine! The Louvre is too big and crowded, especially near the Mona Lisa. You almost need binoculars to see it! For families with boys, I recommend Les Invalides, where you can find Napoleon's tomb (not spooky at all) and a military museum. The kids were super into it, especially the weapons section. 4. **Shopping**: Skip Galeries Lafayette and Printemps—too touristy and crowded. Head to Le Bon MarchĂ© instead, a local favorite with fewer people. Trust the French taste—the displays are stunning! Ladies, feel free to splurge [drooling emoji]. High-end skincare like La Mer and La Prairie isn't cheaper than in Shanghai, but French pharmacy products are a good deal for gifts. 5. **People**: French people really don't speak English. I asked for directions a few times, and they'd rather gesture than speak English [laughing emoji]. Avoid sketchy people at tourist spots and steer clear of dodgy areas. One night, I was alone on the metro (tickets are pricey, around 10 euros a day [sweating emoji]), and I was confused by the metro map (no English, of course). An elderly white lady noticed and kindly gestured to show me how to get around. My tip: if you get lost, look for well-dressed white women—they've all been super nice! Overall, Paris isn't as chaotic as some posts on Xiaohongshu make it out to be. Avoid the tourist traps, and it's perfect for a girls' trip—just stroll and eat, soaking in the city's grand beauty and high-level aesthetics. #ParisTravel #FranceTravel
