We had a wonderful afternoon with our knowledgeable tour guide Yannic in Montmartre. Meeting outside the famous Moulin Rouge we meandered our way through Montmartre up to the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur learning history about the sites and establishments as we went. We made 5 stops in all on our journey to experience the (quite frankly delicious) food and drink on offer here.
Starting with a stop at Aux Merveilleux de Fred we tried our choice of the flavours on offer for the meringue based gateaux. After we headed up to our lunch stop to try the boeuf bourguignon with a glass of wine at a wonderful little restaurant brasserie âAdelaideâ where we ate and got to know our guide Yannic and the others on the tour with us a little better!
From here we made our way to Montmartre square for a cheese course at La Mere Catherine where we had our fill of Camembert, Cantal and Saint-Nectaire cheeses with breads and butter.
It wasnât over yet though as we made our way to try the amazing Pierre HermĂŠ macarons followed by a stop for crĂŞpes in the shadow of the Sacre-Coeur!
We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this as a great way to spend an afternoon in Paris getting to know the area and experience the food and drink along the way. Again Yannic was amazing! He really made the tour special and was a fountain of local knowledge and interesting little facts! If you are on this tour with Yannic you wonât regret your time spent in...

Along the way, our guide was really knowledgeable about the area and it's history.
Highly recommend as a starter for your trip, it's a great way to get a feel for the area and a variety of incredible foods on offer in Paris. I'm debating booking again for...
