What a privilege it was to be glared at, judged, and silently scolded for daring to exist near this establishment! It’s rare to find a jewelry shop where the real display isn’t inside, but rather the owner’s impressive ability to look down on people from behind a storefront window.
It seems this person operates under the firm belief that they own not just the shop, but also the entire street in front of it. Just a friendly reminder: according to Article L. 2122-1 of the French Code général de la propriété des personnes publiques, public spaces belong to the public—not to self-appointed sidewalk gatekeepers.
And then there’s the dog situation—apparently, simply walking with a well-behaved pet in compliance with the law is enough to offend the delicate sensibilities of this shopkeeper. For those unfamiliar, Article R. 632-1 of the French Penal Code clearly states that dogs are allowed to relieve themselves in public spaces as long as their owners clean up after them—which, of course, I always do. But why let facts get in the way of unnecessary hostility?
The real irony? The jewelry inside is actually quite nice—but no amount of gold and gemstones can outshine the pure arrogance radiating from this place.
If you enjoy luxury shopping experiences that come with judgmental glares and an unearned sense of superiority, this is the place for you! If not, I’d recommend spending your money somewhere that values customers as much as...
Read moreAh, what a truly remarkable experience—where else can you find a jewelry store that not only sells beautiful pieces but also comes with a bonus lecture on who is worthy of walking past its entrance?
The owner, a person of extraordinary self-importance, seems to believe that he not only owns the shop but the entire street in front of it. In reality, according to Article L. 2122-1 of the French Code général de la propriété des personnes publiques, public spaces belong to everyone—not just to store owners who glare at passersby as if they are trespassing on royal grounds.
And let’s not forget the scandal of a responsible dog owner simply walking their pet in accordance with the law. Under Article R. 632-1 of the French Penal Code, dogs are allowed to relieve themselves in public spaces as long as owners clean up after them, which I always do. But apparently, the owner considers even a well-managed pet to be an affront to his kingdom of arrogance.
It’s a shame because the jewelry inside is undeniably beautiful—but unless you enjoy being judged, stared down, and treated as unworthy of merely existing near this establishment, I’d suggest admiring jewelry elsewhere.
Because while fine craftsmanship may be timeless, bad attitudes should have gone out of style...
Read moreOur experience at the store was wonderful, to say the least. I had a small 8 month old baby with me and they allowed me to bring the stroller in, let him crawl on the floor, and were very kind about him being there. Both the male and female in the shop were helpful and courteous. They allowed us to try on multiple pieces, from rings to necklaces and earrings. They even made helpful suggestions. For example, my friend loved a necklace but it was unfortunately slightly short for her taste. They were out of the longer length, but he offered an extender that created the perfect length to her liking.
The jewelry pieces are all very classic pieces. Mostly simple yet beautiful and timeless pieces. We ended up buying pieces for ourselves and family members. The shopkeeper encouraged us to wear them all the time, even in salt water and informed us that they would not tarnish. I have worn two rings and a necklace for several months now. They have been in fresh water, salt water, a lot of soap and cleaning materials, and they still look good as new. Also, price point in incredibly affordable. I will be going back time and time again for myself,...
