I wish that google map had a comment function with 5 thumbs down! 👎👎👎👎👎 I would like to share this lesson to the tourists in Paris.
And this was the horrible service that we had on last Saturday (April 27th,2024) evening at around 19:45.
Due to the restaurant was full and no more tables available, me and my friend didn’t book the table in advance so we waited right in front of the entry as advised by a waitress who was wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of silver earrings.
After 15-20 minutes of waiting, there was a pair of couple arrived and skipped me and my friend talking directly to the waitress. I was just right behind them and heard about the conversation clearly. When the couple said they didn’t book a table, I was expecting the waitress would suggest the couple making the queue after us, but NO! I didn’t interrupt the conversation because I respected them and trusted there was some basic respects and manners of profession of the waitress. So then she prepared a table and guided the couple to settle down but left us alone waiting. However, this part was just the beginning of the nightmare of the service at this restaurant. The second waiter was even worse! A tall thin guy with a black outfit when we caught a moment to talk to him and to know how could the waitress proposed the table to the client without reservations and arrived after us. We requested the tall waiter to ask his colleague(the waitress) who just provided a table to the couple. He refused, and he kept saying that he could Representive her to explain to us. We saw the waitress passing us while having the discussion with the waiter and we waved her to talk to us, she ignored us even though we had eye contact and she knew that we wished her to talk. We asked for an apology and respect and explanation and even a solution for this unfair treatment. What was very funny was that the waiter kept telling us:"We are sorry, we are sorry, what do you want me to do? Sorry we made the mistake " by saying these, he was not serious at all and nothing else! At that moment, I almost wanted to ask him: Then could you please make another mistake again and provide us a table by not respecting other customers? (We didn’t want to eat at the restaurant) At the end, we proposed to talk to the manager, and the waiter said that he was the manager. Can you imagine they even lied in order to fool the foreigners or tourists?
Congratulations to you, the restaurant still survives with the these services! And God blesses you, the restaurant will still survive with the service...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed and frustrated by the appalling treatment we received at this restaurant. My eyes are filled with tears now while writing this review, still shocked by the experience.
I brought a friend here to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Paris. When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, so we patiently waited by the entrance for a table. A female staff member informed us there would be a 20-minute wait, which we agreed to and she then confirmed with us that she would come and inform us when there would be table available for us. However, moments later, another two customers arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. When we raised our concerns with a taller male waiter, he dismissively told us that they had a reservation, which was untrue.
Despite our efforts to explain and seek clarification with patience and smile, we were met with disrespect and rudeness. He (the tall male waiter) refused to let us speak to the staff member who had initially promised us a table, kept saying that he couldn’t understand what we were saying, we were wasting his time, it was a mistake or miscommunication, but he can do nothing now, etc. in a very rude and impatient manner. And when we asked to speak to the manager, we were told he was the manager and that there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation because the customers after us were already seated.
Feeling powerless and utterly mistreated that moment, we ultimately had no choice but to leave. As foreigners, we did not expect to be treated in such a discriminatory manner. It's disheartening to end our day in Paris on such a sour note, especially after eagerly showing my friend the beauty of this city.
I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone, not only due to the poor service but also because of the complete disregard for customer care, honesty...
Read moreWe went there to have some drinks and it turned out it’s a place of disasters. First, we stayed at a table for 20 minutes until someone came to take our order, even though the place wasn’t packed, just 8 tables occupied. Secondly, we ordered a coke and 3 glasses of champagne but it turned out it was to difficult for the waiter to remember this intricate order and he just brought one glass of champagne and the coke. Minutes later, after I told the waiter he needs to bring two more, as per order, he said: “Ok, I’ll bring two more Prosecco”. I corrected him by adding:”It’s Champagne, please bring us what we ordered.”. Of course you can see clearly by the glass that it was Prosecco that he brought. We tried to tell him that we think it’s Prosecco, but nevermind. Third and last, if it were’t for the attitude of the waiters(both that were working there then), I would’ve minded my business and as I usually do, end up in a good restaurant forgetting my last experience at this bar. But no, I can’t leave places like this get a pass when people don’t even care of their customers at all. That should be the first order of business, because that’s what customer service means and that’s what they’re offering along with food and drinks. It should be about the experience but they don’t get it here. Cheers and avoid this place, maybe they learn a...
