Square fleuri situé au centre d'un carrefour giratoire. Le nom de ce jardin rend hommage à Albert Besnard (1849- 1934). peintre, décorateur et dessinateur français, lauréat du prix de Rome en 1874. Il mourut dans le 17° arrondissement de Paris, rue Guillaume-Tell. Son buste a été exécuté en 1967 par le statuaire Philippe Besnard, un de ses fils. Réaménagé en 1998, ce square offre des pelouses à l'ombre de frênes et de noisetiers de Byzance qui voisinent avec des massifs de rosiers.

Ce square se trouve au centre de la place du Maréchal Juin. Malgré la largeur de la chaussée il est facile d'y accéder. Cela apporte de la verdure à cette grande place et c'est très agréable. J'aime à le traverser en parcourant l'avenue de Villiers. C'est plus pratique que faire le tour. On y trouve des massifs de fleurs et de nombreux arbres.
