The first time was good. I returned to get more things with ten Euros, but I did not know the man’s language. Anyway, I take 2 cards (4 euros total), then, 4 one-euro cards, which equals 8 euros. I gave ten euros to the man, he took everything, and wouldn’t give me my two extra euros. I tried to tell him, but he did not give me my money back. He probably thought he could get away with it since for the second time I came, my dad did not come with me. I chose to walk away, I turned around, and he was very happy. The first time I went, I got six cards for 6 euros, I came the second time, got six cards, 2 (for 4), 4, for 4. Meaning my second total had to be 8. It’s only two euros, yes, but the fact that he did this to a young girl was not nice. And, I tried giving him the cards back, to re-inspect them, but he would not take them.
Read moreA little difficult to find but once you're there, it's a one of a kind experience. Just imagine: you out there with 4 Stamp collector extrordinaries who have spent their entire lifetime on this stuff. I went up to go guy and asked for stamps from China. He responded with " What region? Hong Kong? Taiwan? Macau?" When I replied, he asked what time period. I wasn't ready then but now you know what level of...
Read moreI stop by anytime I’m in Paris on a Saturday and have been doing so long enough to see the gradual decline in both vendors (just 5 booths today) and customers (I was the only one browsing during the hour I spent there). That doesn’t mean that collectors shouldn’t come: there’s plenty to browse and enjoy. I’ll keep coming as long as sellers show up. Be sure to bargain a bit - marked...
