Service is almost impeccable, but when it comes to the facilities and professionalism of the therapist, I wish there was more attention to detail. We chose the relaxation + body scrub + hamam and a facial massage as an extra. We were welcomed beautifully, asked what we wanted to drink and were given some time to choose from the varied options the spa has to offer. We started with the hamam and the scrub which was nice but weird because the therapist entered the hamam with us, we were 2, but there was only one therapist for both of us doing the scrub, wearing towels which were not comfortable for the work she had to do, since one of her hands was holding the body towel so it wouldn't fall down, and the other to scrub our body. This girl were extremely polite and friendly, but I felt the body scrub was kinda harsh and took very little time. After kindly asking us to take a shower after the scrub, we got directed to the massage room. The temperature switch was out of this world, the room was too cold for me to cope, I kept feeling cold throughout the massage period which took +- 1 hour. We asked for the relaxing massage but I spent half of the time struggling with the pressure I was getting from the massagist's hands, it was too strong and she was focusing on nods I had on my back when the purpose of the relaxing massage is to relax, not get tense because you're feeling pain... I didn't feel comfortable asking the girl to alleviate a bit the pressure because I wasn't alone in the room with her, I felt this could maybe hurt her feelings and I wasn't asked either if the pressure was okay... Also I felt many times she was giving instructions to the other massagist in the room which kinda ruined the experience for me, as I could feel the massage fading for some seconds every once in a while. I understand everybody needs to start somewhere but I've had many other massages in my life, and I probably wouldn't repeat this one because in the end, I might have felt relaxed, but during the process of getting massaged, I felt a lot of pain and discomfort. I'm giving 4 starts because the girls were very nice to us and the amenities of the spa have a lot of potential but overall, when it comes to what you're paying for, I don't think it's worth the money, even if it's...
Read moreThe staff at the spa were very welcoming and hospitable, which I appreciated. However, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed with the amount of oil used during my massage. Despite expressing my concerns to the masseuse about using the oil (and not cream), I was assured that it would be fine. Unfortunately, it turned out to be excessively oily. The masseuse left my hair very greasy and in need of shampoo, so I had to return back to my hotel after the treatment instead of going for a planned walk (they had no shampoo in the shower) Nonetheless, I appreciate the therapist's effort to deliver a relaxing massage, especially in the areas where I had tension in my neck and shoulders. Also, my fiancé received a great deep tissue massage and got a 20-minute hamam experience as a treat, which helped...
Read moreSo based on the other reviews I'm sure the massages here are really good. Unfortunately I just never got to experience it firsthand. My husband and I wanted to try the Swedish massage cause they had a special offer which made the price really affordable. We tried to book the massages through email but didn't get a response. So we headed to the spa and hoped they might have something available - since it's off season. When we arrived it seemed like they had available time, it's seemed quite empty and there was a lot of staff present. When we said that we wanted the Swedish massage they said that we had to book two days in advance to get the rate named on their webpage- which the webpage doesn't mention at all... So we were really...
