Disgusting service No matter how delicious the restaurant is. I only know that the restaurant has no basic respect for the guests. It makes me feel sick. 1. Staff training: Frontline employees are not aware of the restaurant regulations. 2. Crisis training: Because your employees have lost their work. The result is forced to be borne by the guests. 3. Customer service: There is no polite language for the guests. 4. The guest is still profitable: the point of view of the guest is not considered after the problem arises. Instead, I will think about the income of the restaurant for the first time. We four people, ordered two sets of dishes and added a main course. After finishing the meal, I waited for about 10 minutes. A man with glasses came faceless at our desk: "Our restaurant can't share dishes. You must order one person." (No one from start to finish tells us that we can't share dishes, we must order one per person) Set, and there are no prompts on the menu.) [There is no sorrow, nostalgic vocabulary. 】 Me: "Sorry, we can't finish the one-person set. We don't want to waste." Glasses male: "Our restaurant must have one set per person." Me: "Then we only have to leave." Glasses man (continues to faceless, glasses do not look at us to the restaurant door. Going to the restaurant door did not help us open the door.) If you order a dish, tell us clearly about the rules of your restaurant. We fully respect your rules. I don't know how your restaurant's praise came. There are only a few tables at least around 8 o'clock. But the other two services are still very ecological. It is this glasses man who treats the guest style is disgusting. You should be ashamed of the behavior of your restaurant.

A major disappointment! I just had breakfast here and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. First off, the prices are outrageous for what you get. We ended up paying a staggering 156 euros for three avocado toasts, three coffees, a rotten fruit salad (15 euros), and a bottle of water. For 20 euros a toast, I expected something decent, but what I received was a tiny portion of avocado toast that was completely devoid of flavor. The bread was just plain white toast—nothing gourmet about that! To make matters worse, the fruit salad had a rotten apple in it. It was absolutely unacceptable to serve such low-quality food, especially at these prices. It felt like they were taking advantage of unsuspecting tourists. As for the service, it was nearly non-existent, very unprofessional. The staff didn't smile once and appeared annoyed whenever we asked for something/assitance. It's dishearting to feel so unwelcome in a restaurant, especially when you're spending a lot of money. Overall, I would strongly advise against eating here. Save your money and find a place that truly values its customers and offers quality food. This restaurant clearly does neither.

Savini Milano is an iconic dining experience that perfectly blends tradition, elegance, and the vibrant spirit of Milan. Located in the heart of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the setting alone is breathtaking — a true symbol of Milanese sophistication. The menu celebrates classic Italian and Milanese dishes, prepared with precision and respect for authentic flavors. From the perfectly cooked risotto alla Milanese to the fresh seafood and beautifully crafted desserts, every plate reflects attention to detail and culinary passion. The service is impeccable — professional, warm, and attentive without being intrusive. Dining at Savini is not just about the food, but about being part of Milan’s history and charm. Whether you’re looking for a refined lunch, an elegant dinner, or a memorable night in one of Milan’s most iconic locations, Savini delivers a true taste of Italian excellence.

ENGLISH (I wanted to write in other languages but there is not enough place)

Hello everyone,

I went to the SAVINI CAFFE restaurant on Thursday February 10, 2022. This experience was awful for my friend and I who are young black women (I specify this because this fact which is supposed to be unimportant seemed to be decisive in the experience that we had in this restaurant).

From where should I start ??

First of all, when we arrived, we were asked for the Green pass. Being vaccinated for 7 months, according to the rules in force in Italy at the time of the facts, it was necessary to present in addition to proof of vaccination, a negative Covid test of maximum 48 hours for an antigenic test. That's what we did.

But to our surprise, the person at the reception told us that despite this, we could not eat in the restaurant. And then, a lot of staff came to us for I don't know what reason. In short, this restaurant receives a lot of people, is located in a tourist area, and knows very well the rules in force in times of Covid in the catering sector. Simply, the person at the reception did not want to welcome us in his restaurant because we did not look like the customers that the restaurant seeks to seduce.

After explaining to them the rules in force in Italy concerning the Covid, they had no other choice to make us sit in the restaurant. The waiter who took our orders, and the one who served us were great and very professional, especially compared to the rest of the staff at this restaurant. Thanks again to them.

During the meal, another server looked at us with insistence. Afterwards, we asked him for the toilet. He seemed to suspect us of we don't know what and allowed himself to follow us.

At the end of the meal the waiter who made us pay the bill was so nervous and rude omg he just looked like he was in a rush for us to get out of his restaurant.

If we had imagined the experience we were about to live in the SAVINI CAFFE restaurant, we would never have known how to enter. Fortunately, 2 servers there were great, including the one who made us the ice cream and took our orders. Thanks again to him for his kindness, his availability, and his professionalism.

Regarding the meal, we ordered two pizzas: one with salmon, another with seafood. The prices were decent. The pizzas were pretty good, no better than anywhere else cheaper. However, do not take water! 8€ for a glass of water each, not even a bottle, incredible LOL

I am writing this review so that people, especially young and racialized people, know what to expect when entering this restaurant. You should know that you will...

Big scam!

My first time at this restaurant, and definitely the last. I ordered a shrimp dish and a glass of wine. The portion was very small and honestly not worth the price. The taste was nothing special either.

When I finished, I asked for the bill. The waiter asked, “Another glass of wine?” I clearly replied, “No, thank you. I just arrived and want to explore other restaurants.” He insisted and said, “It’s on the house.”

He kept serving me wine, and the bill never came. After two more glasses, I said I really needed to leave as I was staying far away and had a flight in the morning. He said, “Then have this last glass.”

When I shared this on Instagram, a friend warned me: “Be careful, these people run scams.” I didn’t want to believe a lux restaurant founded in 1867, in such a prime location would tarnish its reputation with such a cheap trick.

When the waiter finally brought the bill, it included a ridiculous amount of things I never ordered. I made it clear I had only ordered one glass of wine, and he had said the others were on the house. This is dishonest and reflects the terrible quality of service. Even after I expressed how shocked I was, he kept insisting, “But you drank X glasses.” I replied, “Doesn’t matter. I didn’t order them. I’m not paying for that.”

It has nothing to do with money, by the way. My flight back home is this morning, and I still have €700 left to spend from my trip budget. But I like spending my money wisely — not on people trying to make a fool out of me.

Feeling challenged, he went to “fix” the bill and returned with a revised one. I noticed two other items I hadn’t ordered and asked what they were. He replied rudely and impatiently: a €10 “service fee” and a €10 bottle of water — a bottle clearly labeled with the restaurant’s name and obviously just tap water.

It’s extremely frustrating to experience this kind of behavior from a restaurant located in one of the world’s most famous tourist spots.

They should not need to resort to such dishonest and pathetic tactics.

I DO NOT recommend this...
