WORST EVER! If you are darker than an egg shell, DO NOT GO HERE. The staff on the lower level followed me throughout the store. I confronted the employee who claimed it was a "store policy" to follow customers around "in case they needed help". I told her I did not need help and she continued to follow me. A couple was walking around the store. "They look like they could use some help." I said. She simply smiled and continued to follow me. I told her again to stop following me. She then tried to gaslight me and pretend she wasn't doing anything wrong. One customer who was clearly in denial tried to say that they were following her, too - with zero employees following her when she said so and zero employees following her into the next room. The female employee then called the male employee over, who I'm sure told her to follow me, who then echoed the same lie of "store policy." So I asked that if this was a store policy, how come no one else around this store is being followed, as I pointed out the other customers shopping in peace. They had no answer, but kept echoing the same lie. I got fed up and started to leave. As I made my way up the stairs, the male employee decided to "help" me by chasing after me and shouted, "Have a nice day!" as I left. Really? He wasted all that time and energy for that? I wonder what excuse that customer came up with to justify his actions. Look at the other 1 star reviews: I'm not the only person they've done this to. Well, he said have a nice day, so I did by going to another store and being...
Read moreFirst time visiting Milan this week. Went to this Prada store and Georgia was our shop assistant for our whole time at the store and WOW! What a pleasant experience, Georgia knew A LOT about the Prada brand and the history of the store - walked us around the whole shop and spoke to us about all the different products and the ranges, introduced us to another guy working with the Prada jewellery (forgot his name - sorry!) but again he too was extremely knowledgeable with the jewellery and brand. Georgia let us try on any products we wanted to and made us feel welcomed and comfortable there.
Georgia has perfect English (I’m from the UK) and the experience in this shop was much much much better than any of in the UK!
I didn’t buy anything from the store as I had already been to a few different Prada stores this week and already made my purchases, however if I knew the experience would’ve been this pleasant I would’ve held out buying until going to this store!
Most definitely recommend visiting this store, all staff are friendly, security are friendly and do not make you feel uneasy, wide range of products and bursting with history of the Prada brand with this store being the first! (And ask for Georgia to serve you if you can!)
@Prada, PAY GEORGIA MORE EUROS!!!! Exceptional customer services skills, knows many languages and very knowledgeable of the brand and history! You will be losing a VERY key member of staff if she leaves.
Will come back to this Prada store next...
Read moreMy husband I decided to visit Milan while we were in Italy for two weeks. Sunday October 27, 2024 we arrived in Milan did some shopping. We stopped at the Prada at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II 12. We were greeted by lady with glasses she was very nice as we looked through out the store. As we walked to the back where the men’s clothes were at we were met with 3 sets of staring eyes as if we didn’t belong. We left there and ended up at La Rinascente Piazza del Duomo 21 20121 Milan Italy a 5 level department store. See pictures below. The staff at the department store was much nicer, and willing to help. So we ended up opening up our wallets a sent some money and I mean SPENT some money. I am an Italian and American citizen and very familiar with the culture. I have worked in retail for over 20 years. Do not EVER judge a person by how they look or what you they can afford. Our American salaries are triple what they make a year. Also we didn’t even realize there was a second floor of Prada until I read...
