Ristorante pizzeria "il Discepolo" — Restaurant in Montecatini Terme

Had dinner here on a Sunday night and although the food was generally good, the service wasn't great. It took a long time to order and after waiting even longer for the food to be prepared, they began to serve us piecemeal, with the last dish arriving when everyone else had already finished eating, which in my opinion is on the worse side of things that can happen in a restaurant. We want to eat together, not watch each other eat! Having said that, it was relatively busy and they appeared to be understaffed for the number of patrons. We might have been unlucky, and as said before, most of the dishes we ordered...

Da Stefano, Giada e Ubaldo sempre una garanzia. Sono cliente da quasi dieci anni e sono sempre uscito soddisfatto e sazio. Parcheggio ampio e gratuito in loco. Il mio ristorante preferito in tutta la Toscana. Il pesce meglio che a Livorno, menu infinito, carta dei vini ampia, pesce tartufo verdure carne pasta pizza e quanto altro presente nel menu e tutto fresco e delizioso come sempre, professionalità cordialità e simpatia, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti e deliziose tutte quante (ormai ho provato quasi tutto il menu, si quasi perché sono talmente tante portate che quando ne provo una già mi manca quella provata prima e quindi ancora non sono riuscito a provare tutto il vasto menù), posti a sedere circa 350 nelle varie sale e all’aperto, locale rinnovato bello e curato, clientela bella e buona adatto a tutti dalle coppie alle famiglie alle cerimonie e semplici pasti fra amici potendo scegliere tra le varie sale disponibili, forno a legna per gustare svariate pietanze, a due passi dalle belle terme il tettuccio e da montecatini alta e la funicolare, bhe che dire oltre tutto questo... se il ristorante esiste dal 1963 un motivo ci sarà... non mi dilungo oltre quindi, dico soltanto grazie di esistere e di essere un punto di riferimento per tutta Montecatini e Pistoia, se faccio 100km di macchina ogni due settimane per venire a mangiare da loro vuol dire che mi trovo sempre bene come se fossi a casa, o meglio, perché mangio meglio e sto in ottima compagnia. A presto ❤️😋😋😋😋🤤😍 Ps I piatti che preferisco e mi sento di consigliare a tutti sono: tartare super morbida di Chianina, sformatino formaggio e tartufo, ravioli di cernia, tagliolini al lime e pinoli, branzino in ogni tipologia presente nel menu e fuori, scampi, mattonella alla meringa, profiteroles, tutti i vini della cantina stocco in particolare il...

3mn top chrono to get your food, that's the fastest we had in Italy, even raising concerns of freshness, but the truth is: the food is great! The most tasty pizza I had in Montecatini :)

Go there for the food!

Don't go there for the comfort of the sky-leather sticky chairs or to have a relaxing moment with your girlfriend: server on steroids will ensure that you're getting a 2 course meal together with coffee and dessert in less than 30 minutes ;)

Also double check the bill before leaving, we were overcharged 2.5€ and the table next to us also double checked their bill, so...
