If there's a choice to offer NO star that would be my true review!

We have a trip to Rome in July this year, as an early planner I made a reservation for an apartment in mid-March via a hotel booking site. The owner/host confirmed the booking right away with a personally written welcome message. Comes end of March, he messaged me saying the original apartment I booked was no longer available. He offered for us to take another similar apartment with the same price, I accepted and the agreement was mutually confirmed. Comes May-4 the booking site informed me that the property is no longer available and the host can't accomodate us! I called the host to confirm what was going on, he avoided my call and sent a message saying he was extremely sorry because he had large number of bookings! Seriously?!!! This business is all profit oriented and have no consideration and commitment for customer service. I am writing this review so other people could take caution when making bookings with this property. No more for me...
