Popped into this place due to convenience of being a main restaurant on the square however wish we had researched a little first. Prices were really steep compared with other eateries down some of the side streets with no benefits to justify it. Service did not feel warm or accommodating as per other places we had visited in Rome. Order was taken and drinks were a shambles. Only wanted 1 pint of Peroni and 1 tap water. They delivered a bottle of water to the table and stated that tap water wasn’t available (so this was to be paid for). Then 5/10 mins passed without sign of my beer so I kindly asked them about it and he shortly returned with a small bottle of Peroni instead of a pint. I didn’t correct them as they seemed insulted that I’d reminded them in the first instance.

Food then came and was really delicious. Myself and my partner both had pasta dishes which were really tasty, zero complaints with regards to the food.

When the bill arrived, it was shoved under my nose along with the card machine which I wafted out of the way so I could read the receipt and I found that there was 2 pints of Peroni on there instead of 1 small bottle. I brought this to their attention and they removed one of the pints and at this point I didn’t want to argue the cost of 1 bottle vs 1 pint so I just paid the check so we could leave. There was zero gratitude from the staff. There is a 5 euro service charge at this establishment which I reluctantly paid feeling like the service I received was very undeserving.

I would urge anyone in the area to simply walk down any of the many side streets in the area where you will likely find many more accommodating establishments for a fraction of the price with no detriment to...

Overpriced tourist trap. We didn't come here with high expectations, considering we were certain it was a tourist trap. But we were very hungry and it looked more promising than the other places available, so we wanted to give it a try.

We were a group of five people, we ordered bruchetta with parma and mozarella, lasagna, salad with mozarella and lobster pasta. Bruchetta was ok, but tasteless. Lasagna was very small and and not very good either, tasted like frozen lasagna. They also forgot one bruchetta and one of the lasagnas, and we had to wait a very long time to get them after we finally we're able to contact and tell the waiter. The lobster pasta was a mess to eat, since it was served with only a few pieces of lobster meat and had a big lobster on top that had to be opened with any suitable tools available. The salad was also tasteless and a little wet. We also ordered some drinks, but these only tasted like alcohol.

This was without doubt the worst place we ate during our week-long...

Me and my girly wirlies were enjoying our time in Rome, had a few sore heads if you catch my drift 🤣! We stumbled upon this establishment under the lure of some coffees, sunshine and fulfilling refreshments. Lord, did we ask and NOT receive. My good friend, Hannah, asked for a “macchiato” and was given a CAFFÉ LATTE. Hannah, my good friend, contested this with the waitresses, who INSISTED that it was a macchiato”. I know I was feeling a bit worse for wear but I know a caffé latté when I see one! Upon this hiccup, we were served some very below par toasties - they made HOVIS appear to be a fine delicatessen 😂. TERRIBLE. The prices reflected the view, not the greasy spoon chip shop quality of a mid morning meal. I’d honestly recommend Woking pizza express above this “restaurant”! Also - what funny cigarettes must you be smoking to offer “just egg” on the menu for...

What can I say, the location is impressive! This is the place to be for a good lunch in Rome. The staff is very friendly in fact waiters take pleasure in suggesting the best typical dishes for you to taste. Service is quite quick in fact you don't have to wait much for the food to be served. Having said that, it is great to order a Crodino and sip it as you take in the action of the busy piazza Navona. The food is delicious... All the typical Italian dishes are available and the taste is excellent. Of course, you need to try the fettuccine amatriciana, the carbonara as well as the cacio e Pepe. If you are up for a bold taste, try the fettuccine funghi e tartufo! There is also a great selection of meat based and fish based dishes. This is a great place for a lunch with friends... Highly recommended!

As part of Eat and Walk Italy, they conducted their pasta making and tiramisu class in conjunction with this restaurant. After a 2-hour class with a chef, we were seated outside and enjoyed the pasta we made (sauces made by the restaurant, you can choose between carbonara, cacio e pepe or a traditional tomato and basil red sauce) along with a glass of wine. After the tiramisu we made jointly as a class, we were also served limoncello. For USD 63 per person, we think this was pretty good value. Although the class seemed a bit too full and rushed. Would have been nice with a smaller group and slower pace to really get more knowledge and experience out of the session. Restaurant itself is decent, staff are friendly. Not sure about actual menu food and prices.

Came here for a pasta making class. The class was so great! I can't remember the teachers name, I think it was Luca? He was brilliant! I loved the process of making the pasta, much easier than I thought it was going to be. We were given tips on what to do and what not to do. After we made our pasta we were served bruschetta then our own pasta that we had made in a ready made sauce. I would have loved to learn how to make the sauce too. This also included an alcoholic or soft drink as well as a coffee or limoncello. I think it was brilliant value for money and would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting. It was a 1 hour class plus about another hour to eat leisurely so it doesn't take up too much of your day. Very happy customer!
