Gems of Venice — Local services in Venice

I have gone into this beautiful store on numerous occasions and the owner has always been extremely patient as I tried on numerous items, and bought nothing. No hard sell, but lots of interesting information about the pieces I was looking at. Today I was there again, but was very upset about a recent event in my life. Angela, (the owner) couldn’t have been more understanding or accessible. I told her my budget up front and she showed me items that were in that price range. I looked around and what I ultimately chose was a very inexpensive piece. It felt right and the price was not a deciding factor. Angela was not angry, disappointed, or upset that I spent so little. She was pleased I found an item in her store that I felt was right for me. I can’t recommend Gems of Venice highly enough. The quality and selection of their pieces and the service and pleasant attitude are beyond excellent. The honest prices for what you purchase, be it gold, gold plated, or silver, (and you will be told exactly what you are buying) make this a special store indeed. FAKE FAKE FAKE

Please be aware there precious stones they claim is real are 100% NOT, nothing there is pure gold as they claim it is definitely gold plated. Beware of these shops they are alot in Venice and they claim it is original, I am a jeweller expert and I know what I am talking about, I went in because I wanted to have a look and I was shocked with the prices they gave and false information regarding their pieces. Nothing is real, and I was not surprised when I read the review of the poor women who bought a ring for €3900 and it turned to be plastic (refer to the review below) SHAME...

Gems of Venice is my favourite jewellery store in the world. And I am not exaggerating. Everything they have is beautiful, with one side of the store dedicated to more affordable options featuring silver and semi precious stones, and the other side offering higher end options. But regardless of which side of the store you shop, their designs are unique and gorgeous.
