Gondola Service — Local services in Venice

Our first time with a Gondola. We were 4 persons and we knew that we wanted to take it in small canals (not the big one with a busy traffic). So we started at this point. The Gondola guy is super nice and friendly. He explained us a little bit about Venice's history and some iconic building. We were mostly in the small canals but he took us a couple of minutes just to see the Grand Canal (near Rialto bridge) ... otherwise the choice of small canals is the best ... our trip was so relaxing and quite .. so charming .. and our gondolier was singing and whistling (normally they don't if we pay the classic price).. this one has a good mood at...

Beautiful gondola ride exploring the quieter side of the city. Antonia was friendly and courteous making the whole experience magical. It is priced similar to the surrounding area and if it is not busy no reservation is needed. During my visit, he worked till 9pm which is timed perfectly to match the sunset. We enjoyed the serenity of still waters and the mesmerizing reflection of dimly lit street lights...

My husband and I just had a ride here at 5:30pm, it was perfect! Beautiful and calm. No lines or waiting, traffic was low even on the bit of grand canal towards the end of the ride, it seemed like an ideal time of day to do it.
