We've been coming to Kappa Castle for years now and every experience has been awesome from start to finish! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly and enthusiastic owner who clearly loves what he does.

The store boasts an impressive selection of unique board games, RPGs, Warhammer minis and paints, puzzles, MTG, dice, books, tarot cards, and Japanese blind bags. What really stood out to me was how Ryan was able to recommend games for my children based on their current interests and skill levels. Oh, and the games are in English btw.

Whether you're an experienced gamer or just starting out, the owner is always ready to help. He provides excellent recommendations and is more than happy to walk you through any game you're interested in. His knowledge and passion for tabletop gaming shines through, making each visit a pleasure. And the best part is, he is always honest and upfront if he doesn't know something or if there is a better deal somewhere else. However, I am happy to pay the import fee difference, if it means supporting a local store and getting the games now, instead of having to wait 2-3 weeks to get it.

I held off on reviewing Kappa Castle since my husband had already given it 5 stars, however, with the recent store expansion, it's totally worth double dipping!

I'm so jealous of everyone living in this area now!!! We are just here for vacation and had extra time and wanted to get some more boardgames for our collection, and wow we were pleasantly surprised by this little shop! Great selection and variety of games. Super friendly owner. Clean store. Pleasant temperature inside. No weird smells from a restaurant or something next door. Reasonable prices and in fact a few dollars cheaper than other game stores I've been to in the states, (like Jaks in Biloxi for example if you're military.)
