I booked a cut/color/treatment with Ryota over Instagram, he replied super quickly and was able to fit me in the next day! I don’t really speak any Japanese but Ryota speaks English so he could make sure that my hair was exactly what I wanted. My hair was badly damaged from bleach and box dye, but after the haircut and Olaplex treatment, it feels sooo much better. The service was amazing, (he prepared a complimentary drink for me while waiting for my hair to process!!) and you can tell that he really cares about making sure his work is perfect. The price was also extremely good, especially when compared to the US. I was nervous about getting my hair cut in a foreign country but it couldn’t have gone better, I’d say this is the best salon experience I’ve ever had lol. I’d recommend Ryota to all foreigners because he knows how to cut all kinds of hair. The interior of the salon is also super cute. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Japan!...

TLDR: they speak English. Do an amazing job and they even serve you coffee or a matcha latte while you get your hair done. Appointments can be made but we just walked in.

I asked for a cut and to dye my hair platinum. He stole me the price, how long it would take, and asked me if I had enough time for it today. The barber did a fantastic job with both of our hairstyles, paying great attention to detail. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and respectful, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They speak English fluently, which made communication easy and stress-free.
