Found this place in a more residential area, close to Ippodo tea main store. Small but very comfortable. The workers were very helpful, usually you can order on the machine but they indicated that you can look at the menu while sitting down and order with them. They only have a few ramen choices ( we love when the menu is tailored down because they are only making a few ramen and should be good at it). It did not disappoint. My husband ordered the special ramen and I ordered the mazeramen- mixed noodles( no soup, I might have spelled it wrong). I have found at other shops that consistency can be a problem.. but the folks at Kinzan have never failed to put a bowl in front of me that pleased me. The spicy ramen is wonderful, but it is the black mazesoba that I love the best. if I weren't in Tokyo right now, I would head over there tomorrow for lunch .Be advised they sometimes close early because they literally run out of ingredients. the staff is happy... must be the food!!! on Teramachi but a little north of the arcade.. oh my!...

I had the spicy, black chashu ramen and it was delicious, rich and was a generous portion with the set had a side of karaoke and rice for only 1300 yen.
The chashu was the best I've had anywhere and there was plenty of it.
The man and woman working were friendly and inviting and although there is no English menu, Google Translate helped us figure it out amd was well worth it.
