A stylish 24/7 gym conveniently located near Kyoto City Hall. It's under the same ownership of a studio gym of the same name that offers Les Mills classes. Some highlights: 1. If your Japanese is not good (like me) the staff is quite friendly and patient. They'll really try to help with getting your membership started 2. The gym features an automated cycling program 🚲 3. The app you use to access the gym shows instructional videos and the staff sets weekly workouts you can follow if you don't know what to do! 4. The area it's located in can get crowded, so it's convenient to have a bicycle parking space Highly recommended!

Was in Kyoto for 3 days for a holiday and needed to workout as the hotels here do not come with a gym. Search for the closest to my hotel, Cross Hotel Kyoto and ValorPark gym popped up and its just a 3 minute walk from here. Emailed them if they have a pay per use fee and they replied me in a flash and they said yes and guided me on the steps to pay and how to get in using an app. Paid and went early the next day and had a blast working out as their equipment is sufficient for weight training and its 24 hours! Highly recommended for tourists that can't stop working out even on holidays hahaha. Thanks to the Valor team!

I recommend this place to visitors like myself to exercise during travelling. I think the daypass is overpriced tho, 3.3k. But it does the job. I was able to enter the facility easily via the app. They are very responsive via the email. They have showers, lockers and drinking water (you need bottle). Equipments are good enough. (Ie. Bench press, lots of dumbell options, bars, chest fly, sandbox (for training etc)
